The young woman hadn't been expecting him to ask her what she had been thinking though he looked worried, at the very least, for his well being or hers, she did not know. "I had expected you to know I was coming, though it would't be the first time a girl was sent as a surprise gift from a friend." She answered his question, just before the doorbell rang and he ran off to see who it was, clearly excited for something.
