No, but Vestec wasn't the great and terrible god of Chaos, Vowzra the [s]callous[/s] kind and [s]arrogant[/s] benevolent God of time, or Escre the God of life. But they all had the inherent power and potential to do so.

Demigods have less potential than Gods and, while powerful and long lived, aren't immortal unless their parents grant it too them. 

Heroes are less so than Demigods, and are powerful but normally lived, unless their chosen god grants immortality to them.
