Except console general games are a minority. Nowadays it is not uncommon for a game to come out on three platforms but it's not the expected practice either. Unless it was a widely publicized game that was released in the last five years then chances are it [i]was[/i] console exclusive.

Examples of console exclusive games:
Entire Zelda franchise
Entire Mario franchise
Early Metal Gear Solid
Some Final Fantasy titles
etc

Saying you dislike console exclusive games is effectively condemning eighty percent of gaming history. Constol general games are a very new introduction.
