Aoi Don Maquia

Aoi actively listened to Tsukiko's instructions but would be caught off guard by Yamato upping his game in absolute douchebaggery, this time attacking someone both theoretically and visually superior to him, more or less in every way she dwarfed him in this moment. To the clown it felt like a young newcomer to a group trying to impose their will in the team thinking they'd know better, and like in any move he'll eventually get owned and be shunned for everything. Even if Yamato pointed out the flaws in her plan, she never really gave much detail to begin with, so scrutinizing him felt a bit weird. It was like in her circus troupe where they'd brief the team on a new routine with just the basics as to how it was going to function and as it went they'd explain more. So naturally to Aoi they'd probably get to notice all the depth in her plan once they'd reach their mission location anyway. Keeping her position as a Chuunin, she didn't speak out like Yamato did and let place for Tsukiko to give her reply to the arrogance that was Yamato. However, when her case would be revealed to the team with a few inaccuracies, she'd glance back at Yamato with a grudging fixating in his eyes. He was obviously criticizing her, but that was VERY typical of him, so instead of crashing as she would do with her 'normal' clients, she'd actually try to turn the tables and either impress him or bug him to the point of regretting ever bringing it up. She was of course a bit shaken by the fact that he referred to her so negatively despite the fact that the Hokage congratulated her, did he really sink that low in his already tarnished mind? "Ahem! The old man killed lots of people, thank you! The whole village ya' know, all zoooombiiiiies!" She'd imitate a zombie, proof of how she easily got caught away with her little antics and made this tension filled situation a more lighthearted one all the while discrediting the anger unleashed by Yamato. Her eyes both closed in on her nose, giving of the greatest derp impression ever and extended her arms forward to get in character. "They had weapons and teeth! I probably saved little Rei from your zombified mommy who'd eat her at night~ I mean they even caught local shinobi by surprise! I did what my team was too cowardly or too full of themselves to do~" Well that wasn't quite true, Daiki sure wanted to do it but at the same time blocked off any chance of having the Chuunin do it while Haruka would have probably done it himself but unwisely let the threat alone with the others. Not that Aoi was any wiser, but she believed she did the best for her team by taking matters into her own hand in the end. "Teehee~ Beats your track record of trying to kill innocents, Ya-ma-to~" She'd mock him right in his face before swiftly turning back and retreating from the heat. She didn't like to argue or confront anyone on anything, so she left it with a very annoying last words. Aoi was obviously referring to his tendency of hitting people for simply talking to him and even trying to kill them for "dishonoring" him, and by that it could go it flipping him off to humiliating his clan's questionable decisions. He had no advantage in killing Aoi however as she was too close to his family to make it justifiable in any way, so she wasn't as stressed about calling him off sometimes when need be. She'd stay close to Tsukiko's side, like an example student that she never was, in case Yamato would actually go physical over a little ego damage.
