But it sounds like the girl is the cause. The bracelet (or in this case the photo in it) is an emotional catalyst. The father is no longer around. Could explain why when she was comforted that things happened. But that doesn't entirely explain why the rock man wanted to kill the girl. So there are holes in my theory.
