So much seemed to happen at once. It threw Kalinda off. Dimitri fell over Victorique, causing the girl to fall, and then look at Kalinda as if she had caused the injury. Kalinda held up her hands as if to say "not me"

She poked Dimitri, but he didn't seem so bad as he quickly stood up. She watched victorique take his hand to rise, and Kalinda Rose swiftly, quickly reaching out to try and balance Victorique before she stumbled against ju long. Kalinda sighed softly, and looked at both guys.

[color=f49ac2]"one of you, be a dear, and help me get her to the cafeteria for lunch. I'm not strong enough to be of much help, and chances are if she leans on me, I'm going to topple over. And she needs food."[/color] Kalinda was going to make sure that Victorique ate, to get energy and strength back. [color=f49ac2]"and we should hurry, before she falls asleep again"[/color] she smiled at her kwn little jest, but was concerned for Victorique. She couldn't very well continue to sleep in hallways, or more people would trip over her.

Why did Kalinda care? That was a good question, and one she really didn't have an answer to. Kalinda liked to be needed, and Victorique certainly needed someone to look after her. Especially in this class, with the water. But mostly, Kalinda guessed that she just saw a chance to not be so alone.
