Isaac can't help but chuckle as he watched Hayley's face grow redder by the second as she stammers. Moving back to give her some space, he removes his arm from her shoulders and takes her hand after letting go with his other hand. After a moment or two of silence, he says, "I wonder what I'd be doing right now if we hadn't met. Probably the same thing I was doing before then: wandering aimlessly and visiting the diner and library on occasion, hoping the next day would be different somehow." He then turns to her and asks, "What made you decide to ask me to stay with you when we met?"
