"Well, it's not for an entirely altruistic reason, mind you..." Hayley sighed, trying to fish out her past memories from her cluttered and muddy head. "I figured that I could keep a closer eye on you if you stay with me and then take you out if you did anything funny. That, and if you weren't a threat, as you've proven yourself to be, I could at least take you off the streets and not let you suffer alone like I did. You being homeless gave me a good opening for that." Ashamed and now remorseful of her original intentions, she frowned sadly and looked at Isaac. "I'm sorry about that... I was just too paranoid at the time to let the risk fly by. I hope you don't take that negatively."
