Fury had been given the perfect opportunity to get past Kanitah’s guard, and he wasn’t about to look a gift horse in the mouth. After having closed to his six foot fighting range Kanitah tried for some theatrics, possibly meant to distract the trained Fireen. Unfortunately for him, all it really served to do was weaken his guard by leaving one arm skyward, as Fury darted in surprisingly low. With a blast of energy shot upwards from both hands as he jerked them slightly both of Kanitah’s arms would be slowed in their attempts to stop him. With a little luck, though not as much as he would have required had Kanitah given him the respect he deserved, his right shoulder would ram into Kanitah’s stomach even as his left hand seized the back of his right knee and his right hand caught the left. The moment Fury was able to attain the double leg takedown grip he was looking for it would be simple to push his head under Kanitah’s right arm while simultaneously pushing off with his left leg and using a pulling motion from one side and a chop from the other. This would have the eventual effect of twisting Kanitah off his feet and falling back and to his left, with Fury’s weight slamming on top of him with side control.
