Caden stared at the box hesitantly. He did promise to open them with Decker, but he was having second thoughts about even opening the thing. The kid was quite superstitious and whole-heartedly believed that this very necklace might actually show him who he was meant to be with. Leo, his black Belgian shepherd nudged his hand, seeming to sense his unease. Sighing, Caden pushed the box away a few feet and watched Decker tear into his. He couldn't help but to laugh a little at the pale color, so light you could easily miss it. "Maybe that's just its way of saying there is no one meant for you." He chuckled, ignoring the glaring scowl he received from his more aggressive friend. A knock at the door pulled his attention away Decker, Leo hopping up and rushing to the door with an energetic bark. Caden jumped up and jogged after the excited dog, the wagging tail an indication it was a friendly person on the other side of the door. "Hey Decker! Did you lock this behind you?" He called, not remembering locking the door, not that he would have been surprised if he did. Shaking his head, Caden opened the door and smiled. "Hey Blake. Come on in, your just in time to see Decker's awesome necklace." He chuckled, pulling Leo aside so that Blake could walk around him into the house. "I see you found yours." He nodded to the necklace around Blake's neck. "It's a good color, suits you." Caden closed the door behind her before leading her to the living room where Decker was waiting.
