I was the girl who had ken dolls noosed and hanging in her mini van window. Would wear unmatching socks/shoes/earrings. Had a series of 'bird calls' to communicate with my best friend over distances. and had half the school convinced I had a twin sister.
It was awesome. 
God i miss high school. those were the easy years.
