Hearing some sort of mechanical movement somewhere down the hall brought Sonja out of his dizzy spell for a second just in time to see the barrels slowly poking out of the wall. Eyes widened, he turned again and almost shouted when he saw the door starting to close when Arc shoved him back into connecting the dots and the adrenaline kicked in. 

Swiftly lifting the smaller girl and carrying her under one arm, he made a dash for the door, grateful that she had somehow thought to buy them some time with that knife. [color=a2d39c]"Nope, nope, nope, nope, NOPE, NOPENOPENOPENOPE!"[/color] Even though he was moving more quickly than he thought he probably would have in any other situation, the distance seemed way too painfully long until he was already almost there and diving for the exit.
