I'm gonna go ahead and request you remove/ater on of the aspects of it, either remove his ability to detect metal, or the push-pull thing. alternatively, make it so he can sense iron, but only in a broad sense, such as approximate distance and vague direction In addition, make it so he can only use it to move himself if it weighs at least as much as he does, for balancing purposes. feel free to have him railgun those coin things, though. Flair for the dramatic is great and all, but you're going way the hell overboard. He's 17 and attending a school where he wil be face-to-face wit monsters hellbent on wiping out his entire species, I think that's plenty reckless.
I get the first part, I will make it so he can't really make an accurate assumption, its more of a guess. But I don't understand the second part. The original idea was: If what ever he pushes/pulls is heavier than he is, he is the one moved. If he is heavier then it, the object (anchor), moves. Such as, when he pushes the coin it hits the ground, his weight is transferred through the coin, to the ground and the ground is heavier, so he is pushed up. What do you mean '"In addition, make it so he can only use it to move himself if it weighs at least as much as he does, for balancing purposes."'? As for being reckless, I like reckless, reckless is good. It also makes him unique and can be considered another flaw. The emblem, well that might need some thought, I'll get back to you tomorrow, when I'm not as tired and have had time to think. Please note, I am not being argumentative, I am trying to come to a peaceful agreement. There is no chance of me quitting if I don't get my way.
