Paneru really wasn’t the type to fight in this illegal fighting ring. Jaakuna even remembered Paneru leaving the warehouse a few weeks ago during that unofficial mission, so for him to be in another fight with little chance of escaping indeed wasn’t favorable for Paneru. Fujitora-sensei seemed to agree as well as he assigned Paneru to utilize his medical ninjutsu skills to heal Shin and Jaakuna in-between fights. Just before they were about to head out, Fujitora singled out Paneru and Jaakuna, who he seemed to dub “Hideyoshi Jr.” That lit an anger in Jaakuna. In what universe do I and Hideyoshi look like twins? Jaakuna huffed, but he bit his tongue in fear of feeling the wrath of Fujitora. He’s heard how the guy can be when confronted with insubordination. Hideyoshi has warned Jaakuna about him, so the latter did not say anything that would get him his ass beat. “Fine, whatever,” Jaakuna said with a half-sleepish attitude. Jaakuna proceeded to take his hair out of the single-knotted ponytail it was in and used his hands to move around his hair so parts of it were sticking up as if he had just awoken. Though it mainly kept its silky touch, there was a sense of masculinity that oozed from Jaakuna. It wasn’t as much as Shin -- the dude was the personification of being manly -- but it was still enough so that Jaakuna didn’t have his model-like appearance. The walk along, Jaakuna had reached into his bag, and pulled out Instant Nail Polish Removal. It was handy for Jaakuna to have on his person. It wasn’t like most which one would have to apply it to each, individual nail. This one came in the form of a dust-like material. All Jaakuna would have to do is apply one sprinkle and the polish was gone. And that was exactly what Jaakuna did. First on his right hand and then the left hand. All Jaakuna would have to do was shake his hands just a bit and the nail polish was gone, revealing the pinkish-white shade that all fingernails have. As Jaakuna did all of that, he would hear Fujitora speak about how he wouldn’t be able to interfere or intervene in their fights as it could very well compromise and/or ruin the mission. Jaakuna understood that and it made sense. Fujitora would also state that because of the dangerous nature of the mission that they would have to rely less on their powers and more on their taijutsu prowess. “No worries for me. Have you seen how awesome I am with Taijutsu?” Jaakuna confidently boasted. As they arrived, Fujitora stopped and then turned to his team to ask them if they still wanted to go along with this. Jaakuna stood there himself silent for a minute. He didn’t have to think about it, but he just looked at shin and Paneru. He wasn’t sure what they were going to say, but after a minute(maybe not even that), Jaakuna spoke, “of course I am. Let’s get this show on the road.” Jaakuna said, proceeding to walk forward as he proved what he just said. What the fuck? It was safe to say that Rin wasn’t really all that fond of her nickname by the supposed jounin that she, Geichi, and the new one, Mia Uchiha have been assigned. Not only was she weird as fuck, but she looked like someone who just crawled out of some hippy hole. Seriously, she has that lax-like attitude that usually came with hippies. Added to the nickname, Rin still got a little spooked by the way that Megumi was talking. That passive-aggressive tone she had really put a sense of fear into Rin. Not as bad as her father or oldest brother, Rex, but definitely within the top ten. Rin didn’t know if it was the tone of voice she took when she made those subtle threats or if it was the way she said it in the calmness that emitted from her eyes. Either way, Rin knew that she couldn’t fuck up this mission for no reason whatsoever. As Rin would follow Megumi, she took a step out. She must have taken a bit of a step as she was still in the air. Rin looked down and saw that she was much higher than normal. “Okay what’s going on?” Rin spoke lowly to herself. She then looked around her and she could hear Geichi say something about flying. “What the--” And that’s when it hit her like a ton of bricks. “Holy shit, we really are flying!” An ecstatic tone came from Rin’s voice as she was both excited as all hell and a little freaked that she was able to fly. Rin tried to get a handle of how exactly this flying thing worked. She had seen it on the cartoons so many times, but she never thougth she‘d be like those from the Land of Earth who could fly. Still, even as she was trying to fix her body midair, she noticed that it was harder than it seemed. Simply getting the body to get into position seemed to be the first half. The second half was being able to gain speed flying. Rin was obviously having trouble with the former. About a minute of finding the right position, she found that putting her arms in front of her and her legs straight was the best option for her. So, after being able to get into the right position and eventually getting the hang of that flying thing, Rin caught up to her teammates. “I’d like to know how we’re doing flying as well, Megumi-sensei.” She said in an elevated tone as the wind was sort of pressing against her face.
