If that's actually the case, then great. I'll need to find out what the new canon is and see if I can incorporate any of my ideas into it, but I have no problems with that. I gave up on trying to influence people's beliefs once I found out how to do something, so the only real potential issue with that is "all that you can do is pray," because that's a defeatist attitude. I'm rambling. It's all up to you all.
Of course there's more you can do in some situations. Most members of my congregation believe that doing nothing but praying for someone when you have the power to help them is selfish and empty. But regardless, you may be upset about it, but I took what you had of the Codex, and extrapolated concepts based on my knowledge of them (since it wouldn't make canonical sense to leave the entire concept hanging). So, some of us have Codexes. They're all named after ancient deities, and all have a power related to bending physics. In this world, where the laws of physics apply equally to our own, they don't actually violate the laws, but instead warp how matter and energy interact with physics, using (to oversimply things) brainwaves. Example: Jibril Sia manipulates pressure. Every power in the RP, including magic, now has explanations as to how they function. And as something I'm sure you would like, I watched all of Railgun and Index forever ago, so there's that.
