Fujitora Choko ; The Overseer

They all seemed... A little too confident in their skills, which frightened Fujitora inside. He wasn't as optimistic, even for himself. Sure he could beat most of them up with everything he had accumulated in terms of prowess but in a chain? Uncertainty overwhelmed him, but as long as he stuck with the plan there was no reason for this to be prematurely doomed. Before taking the big step into the damning abyss of the Konoha black market, he scrutinized his underlings one final time. They still looked somewhat metrosexual and barely intimidating but it would have to do. Picking up a cigar in his coat, he'd light it up like a b0ss with the classy sunglasses on his face. He was going to act as the rich investor sending in the kiddies to do his dirty work and retrieve the scroll for his sick collection. Everything was set, giving them only a nod of approval as they gave off their confident vibe Fujitora found more disturbing than anything. He finally knocked on the steel door, giving three strong bangs on it with regular and brief intervals between each one. The door would remain unanswered for about a minute, but sounds of banging could be heard from the other side. The commander stood still as if this was anticipated. Needless to say, he had been here before for past investigations, which would explain his savvy nature toward this mysterious world the kids were going to confront soon enough, and head on. Finally, an obese man looking rather pampered and elegant for a man supposedly the bouncer of this horrible organization. He didn't say word, he simply recognized Fujitora from his past experience here. The leader of the team would smack a bill of a certain amount to the doorman's hand. "The three are my bidders today, they're safe." He'd warn the guy, he didn't respond, which pretty much meant he didn't disapprove of it. Fujitora gestured his team to follow him through the tight corridor that simply lead to an opened elevator at the end of it. The bouncer would close and lock the door as they all entered the place. The boss didn't waste any time, he'd quickly walk his way to the elevator and once inside barely awaited for his team to get in as he pressed the only button on it. The steel door would close and the usual 'ding' would sound as the elevator went down. The trip lasted about five seconds before it would ring again and open up to the team's final destination: The Bidding Ring. It would be as chaotic as one would expect. But the architecture was somewhat unique. The whole place looked like the inside of a tower going downwards, with the regularity of a cylinder with at its edge rows after rows of cabins where various teams working under specific rich sponsors gathered to get some money off this activity. Many other levels of rows were dedicated to the general spectators whom the morbid desires to watch people killing each other or even bet on winners attracted them all too much. The place loud with sheering, screaming, fists clashing, and most of all, people tossing money around to heighten the stakes. The smell of smoking drugs was overwhelming for people unused to the sensation, unlike Fujitora whom was completely immune to it for some reason. The man leading the squad turned to head toward a set of stairs which he'd employ to go down about ten levels until they'd come across a shady looking fellow who'd greet them by jumping right in front of Fujitora's face. The man didn't seem startled, possibly due to the ritual side of this kind of encounter. "So, you come back for more aye? The usual, hun?" The weird individual asked nonchalantly, followed by a loud chuckle. This left Fujitora unfazed whatsoever. He let the individual laugh it out for a while before he'd respond. "Yeah, four of them. Is this my quarters?" The commander asked the weirdo, only to be replied with a "Yeeeeaaaaaaaahhhh." by the welcoming party. The strangely dressed man would then proceed to distributing a black coin to each team member, including the leader, before running off to greet more newcomers. Shrugging this whole thing off, the commander would simply walk into the small quarters they were offered. It was similar to a VIP box to watch a sports match, except it lacked the luxury and didn't have a glass window, just cement balcony to allow view on the ring. At the very bottom of the tower, a large cubical cage would be seen at the hollow center of the cylinder they were inside of with a blank yet bloody floor right under it. A fight was about to finish as one of the competitors in the ring was being slowly decapitated by his opponent wielding only a kunai. The chuunin would quickly realize that this would be a fight to the death, no referee to control this. "Shin, you're up for the next fight. I'll explain everything when you're done. You two, watch everything and I'll brief you on the details." He'd order, barely giving anything for them to prepare for. Fujitora didn't mind the ring too much but focused more on the cabins. He scrutinized the individuals whom had multiple coins already, realizing that they were lacking time already. The scroll they were looking for wasn't put to the public eye yet, in fear of having it stolen by some low lives. However, if they wanted confirmation, they'd need to qualify for the final round, only they would get to see the final prize. Patting the crystal user on the back, he'd point at the nearest ledge down bellow that would lead him to the ring. He'd have to control his fall with chakra in order to appear somewhat credible to the opposition, but he'd also have to anticipate any kind of opponent that could show up. Fujitora didn't seem that worried about it, usually the stronger ones wouldn't pray on a newcomer with only one coin. Speaking of the coin system, Fujitora purposely didn't mention its functionalities yet, expecting to be asked about it so he could brief them correctly. Shin had his orders, and would know how to proceed, the rest would rely on his capabilities as a shinobi.

Aoi Don Maquia

Aoi frowned as Yamato refused her offer. She puffed her cheeks, denying a free candy bar was a cardinal sin in her books and left her vexed... For about five seconds. Their sensei arrived shortly after her and din't waste any time with a quick jog to start off the excursion. The clown didn't have a hard time following as she was known for her light weight and agility that came with it, making great speed the inevitable result of those two variables. As they were finally launched to do their job, Tsukiko briefed them of details concerning their target and how things would be organized. Aoi listened very carefully, especially when it concerned her. The little girl would then blush in excitement when she learned that her role would be very important in the take down of the enemies. Yamato was the first to grab the map and pulled his own conclusions out of it, leaving Aoi to question what interesting things would be in there. As he threw it in the air, she caught it as anticipated by the teenage boy so she could have a look at it herself. There were a lot of words and drawings on it. She got the drawings pretty easily but the various strange names of locations and hot spots left her a bit confused. She'd turn the map in various angles to try and figure out all of its secrets, only to have her even more confused than she was before. "Oh oh! I have a question! What's the bo-aaar-hheen ste-aapp-eeyy?! It's so close to the circle!" She was referring to the Barren Steppe, a dried flat land filled with sand and a concentrated amount of small desert plants. They would likely have to cross through it to avoid climbing mountains. Having had enough with the map, she threw it right at Nobunaga's face so he could have a dose of "studying" as well. While awaiting an answer, she ate the candy bar Yamato so righteously denied despite it being free. She didn't hold back on the noise her chewing was making as she get a little closer to Yamato, purposely bugging him with the sweet delights of a snack. She wanted him to regret ever refusing a free snack from her.
