It's a combination of goading Yllendthyr and also making it look as if he actually tried diplomacy. Did you catch that he's summoned 3 other nations to discuss the Zanjir situation? Saying that he tried diplomacy with Yllendthyr and that it failed miserably (naturally, not saying what the letter or its contents were) is something of a prerequisite to getting any support. Why would other nations agree to offer diplomatic or military support if Tin hadn't even tried 'discussing' this with Yllendthyr first? Tin wouldn't be surprised if they found out that the PRK was responsible for the bombings and native uprisings, but that front has been relatively cool for years and they probably don't see why the PRK would care about a few islands halfway across the world. Tin is obviously going to blame the elves for arming the natives unless their investigation finds anything to prove otherwise, because who else has a presence nearby and who else would stand to gain anything from it? The fact that they don't have mithril weaponry doesn't matter because they wouldn't expect the elves to be so stupid as to supply them with stuff that could be so easily traced back. I don't see why you're objecting that this situation is all that absurd. In any case, I did it mainly as an IC move to escalate tensions like we agreed OOC. Next up will come the waves of refugees and the thing with Tin's embassy in Yllendthyr that we discussed via PM a while ago. The combination of those 3 things in addition to Tin icnreasing military presence in the Zanjir would be enough to spark the war we want. I'm also intentionally giving you a lot of dirt to use against Tin, so that Yllendthyr can go to their allies and make this look like they're the reasonable ones that were attacked by a crazy theocracy for no reason.
