"Damned coward!" Sasha didn't have to search long for the next opponent as the orc slammed down into him with its mighty sword. Thankfully, the blacksmith had been hunkered down to catch his breath when the blow landed so he didn't get knocked over but the force slid him back in the mud as the blade shook from the impact. Watching the blade shake gave the tall savage an idea. There is a saying he was trained with since joining the black order "fight the fighter, not the weapon." Good advice he only came to know later, before that, his measure of victory was in breaking his opponents weapons with his steel slab of a sword. It might be time to revisit that method. From his crouched position Sasha threw himself up hard with all his body, trying to push the orc leader up off the ground with his prodigious strength. It would surely fail, but that should be enough to get it to fall back far enough to throw the shield at its feet, literally, hurling the slab of defense at the little bones in the feet hoping to hobble it into being unable to charge. If it was thrown off and hobbled, Sasha would begin a rapid fire serries of attacks with his polearm like a staff with the back and flat of his blade along with the ring on the butt. They were easy to block, and that is what he wanted, to hammer away at the weapons vibration node again and again until the sword couldn't take it and break. All the while this plan also gave Silus the perfect opening for a distracted orc to finish him off.
