One hour later...
"See? You've got it squirt! Told ya flying was easy!" Their training wasn't anything super strenuous, just enough to make Shu push himself a little and get used to moving about. The forest as it turned out was a great place for it, what with branches and other plants all over the place; bobbing and weaving between branches proved to be a perfect training method for Shu. The little guy was used to it already anyways, jumping from tree to tree as he did, so it was kind of the same concept at its very core. Beaming up at his younger brother, Takeshi waved him back down with one hand, reaching out when Shu landed and giving his head an affectionate patting, "Look at you going every which way, I think you're getting it. Could be steadier still, and you've gotta control your speed, but you're coming a long way. Hell, I bet by the end of the day we won't even need to bother with lessons, you know? You'll be flying high in no time!" None of this was all too difficult, they could probably go a while yet until it was time for a break and food. With the promise of fruit looming over head chances were Shu was only too happy to do whatever was asked of him, meaning Takeshi pretty much had free reign here to decide what they trained. He couldn't forget though, they had Kiton with them as well, and he'd offered to train the Frost Demon as well, however he might go about that. "Hey Kiton, you look bored. Want to do a bit of training too?" The atrium had been everything that Aito could have hoped for in more in a treatment center. It was like the place was specifically designed with Viral in mind, and with its high, glass ceiling and plenty of plant life and even a pristine pond this was as close to being in nature without having to leave the city. A small stone patio towards the side of the building had been set aside for them to use, and it was here they set up their machines; a monitor to follow Viral's heart rate, a bed for him to rest on, a small cabinet on wheels with medicines, a table with their centrifuge and a few small machines for various purposes, packed away and stacked neatly in a pile along the wall. "Well, I think that just about does it, we should be all settled in now," Aito declared, smiling as he gave a small nod, dusting his hands off with a clap. "Now then, I suppose we should probably get to work right away, don't you? I'm not sure how long they're leasing this wonderful room out to us, so best make full use of it while we can!" Having brought a few wheeled chairs along with them as well, the doctor grabbed one for himself and pulled it over, turning it around and sitting down, his arms folded over the back and his legs parted around the support of the back rest. "Is the sunlight helping any, by the way? I know it's a bit diminished because of the glass, but enough ought to be getting through to make some difference." For all his worries about wandering around on an alien world by himself, so far things were looking alright. It helped some too that T'charrl was along for it all, as if nothing else the alien could be imposing when he wanted to be. More than anything though Haku was just glad to have company, someone to share the enjoyment that was discovering a new world for the first time. After taking the briefest of tours about the city, and seeing what everyone else was up to, the unlikely duo had gone out into the woods, away from the Princes and Kiton to have a look around. While it was hard to saw what lied beyond the walls of this crater the wildlife inside here was very much brimming with activity. Plenty of little animals, and some not so little ones ran around on the forests floor, skittering to and fro at the sight of the unusual intruders. Haku found that he was enjoying himself quite a lot, being so far from conflict and violence for a change was a very nice change of pace. "So... Any flower you really like yet?" he asked after a while, smiling as he glanced at T'charrl, "The last one smelled really sweet anyways, but I don't even know how I'd try it." Trying to imitate T'charrl's eating he stuck out his tongue a bit, lapping at the air briefly before quickly popping it back in his mouth, suppressing a laugh behind his hand, "My tongue's not long enough, I'd have to bury my whole face in it!"
