It took about a minute before someone would actually appear. As the door would open, a big guy, definitely obese, appeared in the doorway. This man was like the guys out of those Yakuza movies that served as bouncers. Jaakuna gulped in slight nervousness as he followed Fujitora and the fat dude. As they would head on some path, they arrived at an elevator. They’d enter and within seconds, they’d arrive at their destination. It was some kind of fighting pits of some sort. Jaakuna could hear the chaotic yells from multiple people that surrounded it. Some were on the ground floors and some were above on concrete cabins. Added to that, the stench in the air from the multiple drugs was almost as bad as the shady figures that Jaakuna had to assume were present. Jaakuna thought it would be at least a comfortable odor, but he was dead wrong. Thankfully for Jaakuna, he and the others were led at least somewhat away from the stench as the bouncer led them down a few levels of the downward tower-styled architecture that the place had. They’d continue until they were stopped by a very oddly-dressed man. He had hair that was unusually spiked high and dressed as if he was a slut of some kind. A sports bra-like top and tight yet flexible shorts that came to a stop at mid-thigh. There was a short discussion before a black coin was given to each of them. Jaakuna took a moment to examine the coin and he noticed a ‘B’ engraving on it. Jaakuna shrugged it off. It didn’t matter all that much. When that oddly-dressed man left, Fujitora led the team up to the concrete cabin that was assigned. The journey there was quick as it was only a few set of stairs until they were at it. Even from when they first entered, Jaakuna had estimated that the actual feel of the ‘watchbox’ wasn’t anything special. All that it seemed to be was a little area where spectators could watch the fights. Jaakuna looked down and saw two people already in the process of finishing their fight. He took notice to their build and they were nice and bulky. They made Jaakuna look like a fucking toothpick. Even Shin looked like a scrawny little twat compared to them. He continued watching on as one of the men decapitated the other with a kunai knife. Jaakuna let out a low whistling sound. “Shit man, they aren’t playing are they?” Jaakuna causally went to take a seat. Just as he did, Fujitora said that Shin was up first. Jaakuna released a slight laugh, but he looked at Shin. “Knock em’ dead,” Jaakuna gave Shin a simple nod. “I expect you to win. Can’t go dying without us fighting.” Jaakuna gave him the most serious of looks. “So, you’re the adpotive-daughter of the Tsuchikage, huh?” Rin echoed Megumi. “It makes sense. I heard those Iwa shinobi can use some technique that allowed them to fly. “ Rin had to admit it to herself. It was a very handy technique. Quickly, Megumi switched the topic from how they were able to fly like her to the mission at hand. Rin’s smile was gone. She had a look of stern seriousness on her face as Megumi would explain that the most important thing was to ensure the success of the mission. She would include that, within the Land of Iron there were monsters and other likeminded creatures. And of course, as if one didn’t know this already, there were Samurais. Though, from Megumi’s tone, she said it as if it were unknown to the rest of the world. They’re the ones who mostly inhabit the Land of Iron. Regardless, Rin was solely focused on the completion of this mission. “Are you kidding? I’m a fucking terrific actor!” Rin yelled out as she proceeded to pass up Mia and Geichi and became the closest to following Megumi. Rin, for some reason, had a rather big grin on her face. Perhaps it was the excitement from the mission or maybe it was something else entirely.
