He'd be received with curiosity from some of the braver or more rebellious tribespeople, fear from those that are scared of what Ialu might do when he finds out, and perhaps anger or violence from Ialu's close supporters. We could just say that Ialu took all his best bros on a several day hunting trip though, so the preacher would have a reluctant but peaceful audience.
