Peter couldn't remember the last time Lexi touched him like this. When the suit consumed him, it felt like Peter was in a dream, a thing he couldn't control, just watch. The more it went on, the more he didn't like what he was seeing, and the less he could do about. He wasn't expecting her to lean closer to him. He was too focused on the mark to even think that she would. His eyes moved back to her's, her fingertips sending a chill through his body, really waking himself up. Her words gave him confidence. A motivation. That's always what she's been, even when he didn't realize it, but the longer they were together, the more he noticed it. He will never hurt her again. He felt dizzy when their lips touched. It had been so long since he's felt her love, and the worst part was that he has had it the whole entire time, the suit just didn't care about it. But boy did Peter care. His hands went to her sides, returning the gentle kiss before he leaned in for another one, one more passionate, and loving. All those memories of snuggling up together on the couch, talking all night while working on school research projects, having races and little competitions as Spidey and Catwoman... He was glad that he was able to think of those times now when he really needed to. He pulled back gently, his forehead on her's. "No more lies. No more regretting. I'll prove to you that I'm back... and I'll prove to everyone that Spider-Man is back too."
