Background: Zoe didn't see the world outside of her vault until she was 20, and even then it was just bad pictures that scouts from her vault had taken when exploring the nearby area. She was assigned to work in maintenance, where she learned how to repair things that had broken, but also how to use explosives or pick a lock. It was a boring job, and they had to entertain themselves somehow. Zoe decided to try her luck in the wasteland when the situation in her vault had declined beyond any repair. She thought she was prepared when she exited, but it didn't take long for her to end up in trouble with the locals that had claimed the surface as their own.
