Herculean Academy: The Top School For Aspiring Superheroes
"The measure of a man is what he does with power." - Plato

Previously on Herculean Academy... - A group of teenagers with superpowers wake up on train, with no idea of where they are or how they got there. However, they soon realise they are all headed to Herculean Academy, a secret Superhero School located underground. - Three of the students, Alexis (played by co-GM Rune_Alchemist), Kitty (played by our co-Gm on Hiatus, Nightmare Bunny) and Graham (played by Ogobrogo), immediately hit it off as they all share a love for Pokemon puns and are dubbed the 'Loser Trio' by snobby fellow student Brett (played by Fabricant, who unfortunately no longer part of the roleplay). - Needless to say, Brett and Alexis take a disliking ot eachother and start a fight, both them just happening to have sound-based powers. This causes the train to crash, meaning that one of the teachers, an Eldrichian alien parasite called Meredith (also played by Rune), has to come and find the source of the chaos. - Some of the students are badly injured in the crash and have to be taken to see the school nurse Dorian (also played by Bunny). These students included Kitty, a quiet girl called Aspen (played by Classified, who may or may not still be here) and a young boy called Cheol who escorted her (played by me!) - Eventually all the students were rounded up and taken to the platform once Meredith had found out what had happened, where they were introduced to vice-principal Nina Smith (also played by me). She welcomed them to Herculean and was about to take them inside the school when... - ... three government agents showed up, escorting a young girl bound in a wheelchair and straitjacket. This girl was known only by the name of Deia (played by TheHangedMan) and possessed powers far greater than many other superheroes. The agents entrusted Nina with caring for Deia, hoping that she could find some way to make Deia useful for the side of good. - Nina then escorted everyone inside the school and deciding on the rooming situation. She then allowed everyone to pick their own room. During this, however, young Cheol fainted and had to be taken to the school nurse. Once he was 'patched up', he met up with own roomate Paul (played by Vec). - After the rooming situation had been decided, everyone was taken the cafeteria to eat. - Also, there is a sexy vampire chick called [s]Anastia[/s] Anastasia (played by Zoldyck), and everyone wants her booty. Mostly Alexis. She really wants Anastasia's booty. She can barely control herself. [s]Seriously, Alexis, just kiss her. Right now.[/s] [s]Oh God, Rune's going to kill me for that last part![/s] And so ends the prologue of Herculean Academy, and now we begin with the first story arc, in which our heroes(?) will begin their first day of classes. This will be the perfect time to introduce new characters, who you can all say were on the train to begin with, but just didn't really interact with anyone. Let the chaos begin! (If you want to see the prologue for yourself, please go here. There's more information there if you're confused.)

Arc 1

Welcome to the Academy

1. You may play up to four characters. They can be either students or teacher, but you can only have a limit of two teachers. If you want, all of your characters can be students, if you think you can handle it. 2. Make sure we don't have to many characters with the same powers. If too many people have too similar abilities, I'm gonna have to put a restriction. 3. Please try and keep characters from getting overpowered, at least to begin with. They might get stronger as the roleplay goes on, however, maybe even discovering extra powers. But we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. 4. While I do expect to see the common powers such as super-strength, super-speed and various elemental abilities, I'd like to also see some more unusual powers because, let's be honest, slightly strange and obscure powers can be a lot of fun. Be creative, have fun with it. 5. No powerless Batman-esq vigilantes. At least, not for now. I might bring in a storyline about vigilantes later on, who knows. 6. I'm allowing both supernatural and sci-fi superheroes. If you want your character to be a young Doctor Strange, go for it! It will make this roleplay even more fun. 7. While drama is all cool in IC, I'd like there to be none (or next to none) in the OOC. I want us to all get along. I might even set up a Chatzy so we can all get to know each other a little better as I've found that a roleplay remains going if we all get on with each other. 8. I am the GM. Rune is my co-GM, and Zoldyck is standing in for Bunny while she's away as my second co-GM. I would like to respect our authority. If you are doing something against these rules or making things uncomfortable for a number of players, I, Rune or Zol will give you a warning and ask you to stop. If you continue to cause trouble, however, we'll have to ask you to leave. 9. Keep this PG-13, please. Mild swearing is aloud and mild swearing, but no sexual content. 10. If you are planning on dropping out, please tell me. I know it's not always nice to tell someone you're quitting their game, but I promise I won't get mad at you. I might be a little sad, especially if I've particularly enjoyed being part of this roleplay with you, but I'll understand. Sometimes, you have other priorities or too many RPs to keep track of. Either way, I'll understand. And if you're too busy at this moment but want to return later on when you're a little more freed up, don't be afraid to ask. I'll definitely let you return whenever you're ready. 11. After writing your CS, don't immediately post it in the character section. Send it to me, Rune or Zol first veer PM. If we approve of it, you may put it in the Character section. If we ask you to change something, please respect our decision. 13. While this roleplay will have it's serious moments and I expect characters to grow, it will be mostly light, fun and slice-of-life based, at least to begin with. Maybe when one of the numerous subplots I have planned get rolling, it might become more serious. Still, I want this to be a quite fun game. And that being said... 14. ... have fun! I made this game for people to enjoy.
