[@XxFellsingxX]'s Currently Active Characters
Real Name Cheol Akiyama Superhero Alias Technically not a real alias, but his transformed persona seems to refer to himself as Yuugure Gender Male Age 13 Power Set Cheol has no powers on his own, but possesses a magical Tengu mask which, when he puts it on and says the words "Kaa kaa!", which is the Japanese onomatopoeia for the sound a crow makes, it turns him into a Karasu Tengu, a crow demon. He gains wings, which give him the ability to fly, and incredibly quickly at that, a very minor increase of strength, and enhanced senses. And while he can't telepathically communicate or talk to crows, they have a tendency to be attracted to him, and he has found a way to influence them into helping him sometimes in battle, though more as use of a distraction. He changes back to human form by saying his full name three times. Other Skills: - Has had two years of karate training. Weaknesses - Yuugure is somewhat of a 'glass cannon'. In exchanged for his flight and speed, he's got a light bone structure and is incredibly fragile. He'll bruise far easier than even a normal human while in Tengu form, and his bones are incredibly likely to break if given enough impact. And like any flying creature, strong winds or forces can push him back, even when he's not flying. - As Yuugure, he can easily be carried away by his newly-found animal instincts, sometimes to the point that he may become feral, wild and even unable to speak. This usually passes in an hour, but sometimes he has to be pacified in some way before he can regain his senses. This usually happens when he's startled, incredibly enraged or, as he's technically a crow now, when he's around dead bodies or raw meat, as his hunger for the taste of carrion takes over. - As mentioned previously, Yuugure is a bit of a daredevil and incredibly arrogant in his powers, and will often underestimate his opponents, which can cause him to get into a lot of trouble. Appearance

Transformed (Note: This picture is not by me.) Personality Cheol seems to have two sides to him. In his everyday life, he's come across as a shy, polite and relatively friendly boy. He doesn't talk much and is rarely the first to start a conversation, but he's a good listener, and if you tell him something, he's likely to remember it. However, when around him, you will occasionally get this feeling that he's not entirely relaxed or comfortable. It's minor, but if you focus long enough, you'll start to see that that small, shy smile on his face looks just a tad forced. Because deep beneath Cheol's kindly exterior, there is a well of built-up anger, slowly collecting over the days and desperately desiring to get out. Sometimes it does. Sometimes Cheol's facade slips and the rage comes out, he looses control, but it usually only last a minute before he manages to pull it back, only to excuse himself from any people who may be watching. The only time this anger is ever properly let out is when Cheol is fighting crime as Yuugure, in which he seems to become a completely different person. It is unknown if this is a side-effect of the mask's power, a separate personality within the ask or simply Cheol free to show his real nature, but he changes from quiet and polite to raging and reckless. He's much more at ease and may be a bit of a thrill-seeker, feeling more happy for a fight if he feels the odds are a little more against him. He's also mischievous, often taunting his foes as he flies above them and even might use similar taunts on his own allies, albeit with a lot less maliciousness. Backstory Born and raised in Yokohama, Japan, Cheol grew up in fairly well-off family. His father was Japanese and a policeman, who always taught him to stand by his morals, and his mother was Korean and a business woman, who always taught him to aim high and be ambitious. They were loving parents who perhaps spoiled their son a little and may have sheltered him somewhat from dangers of the world, but they did care for him, and Cheol cared for them in turn. However, they were almost always busy work, which meant Cheol often came home to an empty house, and was the main reason they never noticed that, once Cheol reached junior high-school, he was being bullied. Accused of being very 'feminine' and a bit of teacher's pet, Cheol was often teased by the older boys at his school. This started off mildly, but became worse and worse as time went on, and Cheol became a little more withdrawn with each day, and cut himself off from any chances of friendship. He became bitter, angry, and unsure of what to do. Worst of all, he started... fantasising about things. About hurting his classmates and all the terrible things he could do to them, and this made him worried. It got so bad, he started feigning illness so he didn't have to go to school, but after the first three times, his parents stopped listening to his excuses. Then, one day, when his tormentors followed him from school, cornered him in an alley way and stuffed him into large dumpster and slamming the lid on him, Cheol found something in the dumpster. It was a mask, like the ones you found in Japanese theatre, which had been formed into the likeness of a crow. Once he finally got out of the dumpster and headed home, taking the mask with him, he decided to put it on for laughs, running around the house, pretending to be a bird and wishing he could just fly away. However, when he said the words 'Kaa kaa!', the sound a crow makes, he ended up activating the mask's magic and turned himself into a Tengu. At first, he was reasonably freaked out, but then, after he had calmed, he started to think it was kind of cool, and started practicing, trying to learn how to fly. It took all evening, but eventually, he managed to fly, though it was by no means graceful. He flew high above the city for a long time, before realising he would have to change back, though had no idea how. He landed in a alley near his house and tried to pull the mask off... which was more like pulling at his own face as that was what his mask had become. He did this again and again, but to little avail. Just as he was about to get incredibly frustrated, a mysterious figure appeared, seemingly out of nowhere, and told him that in order to change back, he had to say his name three times (surname first, by the way, as this is Japan). Cheol did as he was told and changed back. Relieved, he was about to thank the figure, only to find that he was gone. Confused, but too glad to ask questions, Cheol returned home. After this, he started using the mask after school, once even using it to frighten his former bullies, who never bothered him again. He also used it to fight crime, as his father did and just like the superheroes in some of his comic books or like those he'd heard about that lived in America. He adopted the name 'Yuugure', meaning 'nightfall', as he felt it 'just sounded right'. Recently, he has been invited to join the Herculean Academy for Superheroes and, after revealing to his parents the truth about the mask and the powers it gives him, they decided to let him attend, hoping it would keep him out of trouble. Other: N/A

Real Name: Marina Schmidt (changed to Nina Smith when she moved to America) Superhero Alias: Mystic Magus Gender: Female Age: 31 Appearance:
Disclaimer: This image is not mine. I did not draw it.
Power Set: Nina is a magician who's source of power comes from the magical staff she possesses, which gives her the power to summon creatures called Will-O-Wisps, sometimes simply referred to as Wisps, which are beings made of quintessence and appear as little flying lights, which she summons from the crystal on her wand. There are different types of Wisps, each a different colour: - Yellow wisps, or Sprites, are the basic wisps, easiest to summon and control. They can't harm anyone, but Nina tends to use them to distract her enemies. She can also, if she gathers several Sprites and merges them together, can cause them to explode, creating a powerful flash that can momentarily blind her opponent. - Blue wisps, or Radiants, are cool to the touch, and possess weak healing abilities that can heal minor injuries, and soothe the pain of more major ones. Each Radiant can only be used to heal or soothe a wound once, before fading. Radiants also feed of the natural life energy of those who cast them meaning that using their power too much can seriously weaken Nina. - Green wisps, or Jacklanterns, are created from sunlight and can be used to accelerate the growth of plants and even heal withered ones. Like Radiants, each one can only be used once and feed directly from the caster's life energy. - Red wisps, or Hinkypunks, are fuelled by the caster's rage and passion, and are boiling hot to touch. Because of this, they can used to attack an enemy, but will disintergrate upon touching their target. Afterwards, they dissolve. They feed off the caster's emotions, and using them too much can make Nina feel hollow and emotionally exhausted. - White wisps, or Phantasms, are the most powerful of the wisps, but also the hardest to control. They can transform into any shape Nina desires, as long as she has piece or fragment of the object or person she wants to mimic. Trying to copy living or moving objects or creatures is more difficult than static ones, and they can quickly drain energy from Nina if she tries to hold them for too long. Sometimes, when mimicking a living creature, the Phantasm may gain a mind of its own and will start acting and transforming itself, with Nina unable to reel it in. However, the Phantasm will fade shortly after. While Nina can create multiples of any other types of wisp - though to many can drain her - she can only, at least at the moment, create and control one Phantasm at a time. Anything more is a great strain on her. Plus, she can't use or summon any other kind of wisps when she has a Phantasm active or for a long period of time after she has used a Phantasm. Other Skills: - Has an in-depth knowledge of both mythology and philosophy. - Has a very good memory, able to remember and even specifically quote every book she's ever read. - Incredibly patient, especially with children. - Good at cooking. On special days, she will help prepare the food herself. - Has a basic knowledge of hand-to-hand combat, though she rarely uses, preferring to rely on her magic. - While she mostly uses the magic in her wand, she has also studied many books of magic, or Grimoires, and has a strong knowledge of other rites or magical rituals, though she had yet to practice these. Weaknesses: - As mentioned before, using too many of any other kind of wisp besides Sprites can severely drain Nina's emotions and strength, causing her to become irritable or depressed and sometimes even blackout. Because of this, she has become quite frail and less energetic over time. It is hinted that, because of her using her magic, she may have also shortened her lifespan. - Her powers aren't very good for attacking, so she can only really act a support for other heroes. - If one knocks her out, her wisps are immediately destroyed as she can no longer focus on them. - Her powers come from her wand, which only responds to her. However, if she separated from it or it is destroyed, she'll be powerless. Subject: The Vice Principal, though she also acts as a teacher for Magic Arts and the Basic Occult. Personality: Nina has been described a little bit of an 'ice queen', as any emotion or words she expresses rarely come off as genuine. Her smiles rarely reach her eyes. Her tone, while can sometimes become very expressive when she is being dramatic, tend to fall into a bit of a monotone, and her rage seems cold and icy. She's not uncaring person, quite the contrary, and she feels incredibly love and care for all the students she had been put in charge of, and there are times where her students may even bring out a warm, motherly side to Nina's nature. However, Nina is painfully aware that the students are NOT her children, and she had to keep their relationship as that of a teacher to their students, and not a mother figure, as much as it upsets her to do so. To her staff, she's a little more comfortable, yet also finds it easier to be professional. It's much easier to be so with adults and with children. Teachers are also probably much more used to her cold, angry side than the students are, as Nina displays amazing patience around children, constantly reminding herself that they are 'just children' and will learn and grow up. Adults, though, she can get incredibly frustrated with at times, especially if she ever finds them acting in an unprofessional manner in front of children. As mentioned previously, when saving the day as a hero, introducing herself to new students or giving a lesson, she can occasionally become a little more dramatic, raising her voice, showing off with her Will-O-Wisps, and even being a little playful, trying to play up her persona as this powerful witch. It is unknown whether this is an act of sorts or if this is the real Nina showing her true colours. Either way, she often seems a little happier when she's doing this whole act. You may even get a genuine smile out of her if you play your cards right. Backstory: (To Be Revealed In The Roleplay) Other: N/A

Real Name: Lonnie Lewis Superhero Alias: Moxy Gender: Female Age: 17 Appearance:

Picture seen above, though also imagine her with a plaster on one cheek and her arm, 'cause she likes to get into fights. Power Set: - Lonnie has an interesting case of super-strength in that she becomes stronger the more hits she takes, absorbing the force of the blows against her and uses them to become more and more powerful. And the more damage she takes, the stronger she becomes. After about an hour or so of not receiving any physical damage, with her strength slowly diminishing as this time passes, her strength will finally leave and she'll have to sustain more damage in order to get her powers back. - Due to the nature of her powers, Lonnie is pretty good at taking hits, and has the stamina to keep fighting when most will have keeled over. She's also hinted to have slightly quicker healing than a normal person, but the difference between the healing rate of a normal person and Lonnie is fairly small. - If she focusses long enough, Lonnie finds she can block out the feeling of pain. However, doing this would weaken her super-strength and causes her reaction time to suffer, so she only does this if the pain is becoming unbearable. - Lonnie can forego sleep for much longer than a regular human being, and actually doesn't need to eat as much either. Other Skills: - Due to her powers, she has no fear of danger. While this can be a bad thing, it means that in a bad situation, she'll always be ready to react and fight. Weaknesses: - Because of her powers strengthening her resilience, Lonnie tends to think of herself as invincible, and will often jump into danger without thinking of the consequences, and has become a bit of a thrillseeker. However, she's not invincible, not by a long shot. She's just more tolerant to pain. For example, a bullet to the head, a fall from a great height or an explosion will definitely kill her, super-powered resilience or no. Though, other than those restrictions mentioned, no one is entirely sure about how far her resilience goes. Either way, she will push herself to almost breaking point sometimes. - In order to balance out her strong resilience and stamina, Lonnie has to take very long periods to sleep, which can last longer the more damage she takes and the longer she stays up for. She's also a heavy sleeper, so during these long sleeps, she is incredibly vulnerable. (She also has to binge eat once every few weeks to make up for lost strength.) - She never took classes in combat, as she thought she didn't need them, so her fighting is messy and unskilled. Personality: Lonnie tries to embody the role of 'the tough girl'. When in the company of those younger than her, she acts like the cool big sister who will punch someone in the face if they mess with you. While in the company of those older, she acts like an rebellious brat who hates taking orders, because she feels she doesn't need them. However, no matter who she's with, one thing always remains the same: her arrogance. Due to the nature of her abilities, she thinks she's invincible, and is somewhat of an adrenaline junkie. Wherever there's danger, expect her to be rushing into it head-first, and actually enjoys fighting others, always under the belief that no matter what, she'll win. However, despite how strong she seem physically, emotionally, she's a bit of a mess, and has difficulty controlling her temper. She gets upset easily, and though she'll try to hide it, it's always obvious. She gets into arguments (and fights) often, rarely backs down and hates apologising, mainly because she's rarely able to realise when she's done something wrong. Even if she did realise, it's unlikely she'd admit it. She's far too proud, so despite seeming so loud and energetic, she has ultimately made herself a loner, and can be difficult to reach out to. Backstory: Lonnie comes from a family of superhumans. Her mother, known by her superhero alias as Impact, possessed superstrength, while her father, known by the alias Deathseeker, possessed the ability to regenerate. Given their powers, great things were expected of their children, Lonnie and her younger brother Ellis. However, for most of their childhood, neither Lonnie nor Ellis showed any superhuman traits. It was only when Lonnie reached age 13 and developed a bit of an... attitude, that something finally happened. See, Lonnie became very fiery and confrontational, and started getting into little fights with boys, usually being the one to throw the first punch. One day, at age 15, when coming home from school, she got jumped by a group of bullies and huge fight ensued. However, instead of being overpowered, every hit Lonnie took, Lonnie found herself striking back twice as hard, and managed to throw off the group before running home. Upon returning home, her parents were shocked to find her severely injured, but when she told them about what happened. they started to wonder if she truly did have powers. After running some tests and doing some training, they discovered that Lonnie's unusual superstrength abilities, and decided to send her to HA, where Lonnie's mother had previously been a student. Lonnie's first year had several, err, hiccups, with her having more reasons to start fights, and the Vice Principal has become used to seeing her for detention. Now, Lonnie is a second year, and has come back to school even more aggressive than before.
