[Sapphire Rode - Airship Docks ==> Infirmary
The boat ride and airship back to Beacon were uneventful. Her throat felt like there was an iron clamp around it and despite the time that had passed since Pop's attempted strangulation it still pulsed with pain, her breath was also a little ragged but she controlled it as best she could so the others would not hear. The bruises weren't Sapphire's only wounds. Those dealt to her back felt no better and one of them even seemed to have opened up again. Sapphire may have dozed off briefly. It had been a long mission. When they landed Sapphire's eyes shot open. She could sleep virtually anywhere but she was also a very light sleeper. When they disembarked Shiro proclaimed he was going to stay at the loading dock for the moment. Something Sapphire considered odd as he could easily take apart, lubricate and clean his weapons in the dorms or the armory where they would be much safer. Sapphire walked to the edge of the cliff right where the airship doors touched the ground. It was now leaving and Sapphire could see all the way down to the lake below. Her daggers had fallen on this ground. Yet they were no where to be seen. Sapphire kicked the ground and a plum of dust rose from her foot as the loose dirt shifted. This ground wasn't stable, the most likely scenario was that the launch or return of the airship had shifted the ground and her weapons had fallen into the lake below. Of course it was possible that they were caught among the rocks of the cliff part way down, or perhaps picked up by a bird or Grimm looking to make it's nest, maybe even some student had found them and taken them to lost and found. Something in Sapphire seemed to doubt it. They were gone, the last remnants of her mother. Maybe she'd go home and find a picture of her instead. Sapphire shook her head and sighed. They were good weapons but designs could always be improved. As she walked away from the loading area Gren inquired as to whether she needed any help procuring a secondary weapons set to replace Morpheus and Phobator. "Thank you Gren but no. The armory has anelaces similar in design to my lost weapons. They'll do for the short term. I still have the original blueprints so in a weeks time I should be able to recreate what I lost." Sapphire nodded at Gren before she and Abel made there way to the infirmary. Abel guided Sapphire to a bed before splitting off to talk to Team Rampage who were all currently various states of injury. Some looked at deaths door while others apart from seeming more somber than usual must simply be there to lend support. A nurse with brown hair pulled back in a bun approached Sapphire and looked her up and down, this was the same woman that had treated her after the initiation trials. "What have we done to ourselves this time?" she said in a patronizing tone. Sapphire didn't much like the woman but she couldn't deny that she was skilled at her job. Her semblance was something akin to omnipotence. She was aware of everything in a small area of space. This meant that she could diagnose a patient completely without the need of a physical examination. "Two lacerations to the back, one to the side, a bruised larynx and you haven't been doing that rib of yours any favors. The bruises will start to show up on your neck within the next couple of hours, I can't say with certainty but they'll be there about a week. Come on, let's get you patched up." The nurse pulled one of the privacy curtains closed. "Alright shirt off, we've got to get those stitched up before you do anymore damage to yourself." Rolling her eyes at the last comment Sapphire removed her jacket, her tank top and pulled the straps of her bra down over her shoulders to allow easy access to the upper wound. Over the next twenty minutes the nurse disinfected, stitched and bandaged each of the wounds with precision. She'd clearly been doing this a long time. Being a nurse at a hunter's school likely afforded her a lot of practice. When she was finished Sapphire pulled her cloths back on. "Alright dear. I realize at this school it's unlikely to happen but I recommend taking it easy for the next two days, give those injuries the proper time to heal. As for your neck, try to speak as little as possible, if you must then do not do so loudly. I'm going to fetch you a notepad that you can write on." The nurse left and Sapphire pulled the curtains of her bed open so she could listen to the conversation Abel was having with Team Rampage.
