Meesei shook her head. "Not at the moment; I will have Ahnasha join you shortly. Just be careful with the poison. Remember, your safety is far more important than this test. Now, I believe I am going to take my leave for the night. I wish you luck, and I will speak to both of you tomorrow."

After Meesei took her leave of the pair, she headed straight to their room to collect Ahnasha and sent her to protect Sabine and Carana. Unfortunately, Ahnasha would have to take Rhazii with her as well. It was not ideal, but someone had to take care of him, and everyone currently had their own assignment. With no more duties to tend to for the night, Meesei headed back to Harriet's room to join in keeping watch for the night. She had set up the watch schedules so that either herself or Lorag were awake at all times, though it was not likely to be a necessary precaution. The trial was still days away, but Meesei was not likely to be able to stop her constant work and vigilance until well-after it was over.
