Disclaimer: While Sam Wilson is the current Captain America Steve Rogers still existed, and if anyone wants to play him I won't stop you. I'd find the interaction between the two interesting. Player Name: Sep Character You Wish To Play: Captain America - Sam Wilson Moral Alignment: Hero Affiliation: S.H.I.E.L.D - Avengers Founder Character Origin & Backstory: Sam Wilson was the son of a Church Minister in DC. From a young age he was a volunteer, just wanting to help others. However after his mother was murdered at the hands of Gangsters life took a disturbing turn. He turned to violence and gang life, he tracked down the ones responsible for his mums death and killed them. He took to taking what he wanted, however in a way thtat never really had him cross the law. Just in a do what needed to be done kind of way, if he ever took anything it was from someone who deserved it (In some way or another). Which is what led him to military life. He exceeded in every sense of the world, a great soldier. He was loyal, followed orders, and did what needed to be done without crossing the line and becoming a psychopath. He was so good he was transferred into Special Forces, where a mission in South Africa got him onto the radar of one Colonel Nick Fury, Director of S.H.I.E.L.D who had him transferred under his command. IT was during his time at S.H.I.E.L.D that his moral compass began to point in its original direction. In the calm enviroment, where he could see the bigger picture and had to think about it he realized what he had done. He hadn't done anything terrible but he had done some bad things. He worked on changing that, he thought about the big picture. He worked on redemption, he didn't work against soldiers anymore. He worked against threats. Organisations like Hydra and Aim were different from working against foreign nations, these were people who were doing bad things for bad reasons. They weren't just soldiers following orders, they had chosen their path. He worked quickly, cleanly and efficiently and when life got weirder, so did he. With the discovery of some of the original Super-Soldier serum, and the eventual complete and utter mapping of the serum. He was injected and augmented, while it wasn't enough to make him a rival to the original Captain America with the flight harness he was still just as dangerous and just as skilled and as such a New Captain America was revealed to the World on front of the White House. The Presidents promise to help keep the citizens of America (And the world) safe from all the wacky dangers that were presenting themselves these days. Since then he has continued working for S.H.I.E.L.D as Captain America, and has recently been given a very... serious project. Powers and Abilities: - Assisted Flight: As an Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D he recieved training in use of a rare flight system, essentially a jetpack with wings he became renowned in a new age of Governmental Super-heroes, this was prior to recieving the super serum. - Super Serum: An original sample of the Super-Soldier serum that created Captain America was discovered by S.H.I.E.L.D, after running every possible test they could in order to re-create the serum. However then with an emergence of villains, and heroes. Fury decided the best solution was to give the serum to his most skilled, and trusted, agent. Sam Wilson. The serum gives him increased endurance, strength, slightly increases his cognitive abilities (nothing major, just makes him able to make snap decisions quickly) and also gives him a minor healing factor. Nothing akin to the Wolverine or the Hulk however if a wound isn't immediately fatal and is cared for correctly he will heal quicker than the average Joe. However, as he recieved less of a dose than Steve Rogers his augmentations at the hands of the serum are less than the original Captain Americas. Sample Story Arcs: - Avengers Initiative : This will be the one I start with. I will PM you with more details [@Dedonus] so nobody get too excited yet. - Fall of S.H.I.E.L.D : Plan to make this one last longer than it did in Cap2 and change up the ending as well. - Finding of the first Captain : If someone wants to apply as Steve Rogers, I think it'd be quite nice to keep both characters and have them meet after the first is unfrozen. - Civil War : I think, cast permitting this would be a fun one to do. Something I'll always lead up to but not ACTUALLY do until the times right. Sample Post: "You have to be kidding with these choices sir." Wilson was in complete and utter disbelief. He believed in the program, however these candidates... were just terrible. He pushed a file forward. "This one, ex-criminal turned S.H.I.E.L.D agent, turned criminal?" He then pushed forward another one "This ones just a kid in a pair of tights-" Fury went to interrupt, however Wilson didn't give him the chance. "These last two, one isn't confirmed to be a hero or even powered and the other one is literally the god of mischief that can't end well." He sighed, before Fury spoke up again. "You done?" Wilson just nodded. "I know you can handle these individuals and can shape them into a team, yes most of them are inexperienced, rookies even. Hotshots and lone wolfs but we need to pull them together-" He pointed to the screen behind him which currently shown the Hulks rampage in New York. "We need a team who can handle it when something like that or worse can happen. Also-" He pointed to the woman wielding the hammer. "That confirms that she is powered, and the other one is an unknown. Though she seems patriotic." Wilson just chuckled at that. "So did the people you sent Taskmaster to hunt down." Fury just kind of grumbled at that one, being pushed by the Council to do things never ended up with the best results. "I'm not asking, you're the one who can lead this team. You have the leadership skills, the training and the capability to do it theres no doubt about that. Just think what will keep happening if superheroes keep going unchecked, eventually we're going to get given the order to hunt them down and start putting them in cells." He threw an additional file on the table as he walked out. "Also, if it wasn't clear. This is an order." Sam just laughed as the door closed behind Fury, before opening the file on the table. "Oh Lord, not Barton."
