The attack stat is just the max amount of times you can attack per post, you don't have to attack the max amount of times if you don't want. I took 1 fire blast, 2 basic punches, and a throw... my limit was 4. His first attack took 1 hp from the enemy, the next time I put the Health stat in the post Spitfire had dealt the other 3 in damage and taken a hit himself. With the enemies its up to you how one sided your battle is, after all you're telling the story. But now and then I'll come in with the enemies and just start kicking ass and taking names to put us all in more of a tight spot or to set up team situations.

EDIT: All the posts thus far look good BTW. I like [@Genni] doing the post count at the bottom. Gonna incorporate that into mine. Again, my post being long was because I took the storytelling part and RP'ed between the lines and used my guy's max amount of attacks. The post could've been even longer if I'd wanted the Parademon to deal me more damage or waste a defense move...
