The fire-breather, the speedster, a sharpshooter, and an honest to God Atlantian... could this be all that's left between Apokolips' hordes and the end of a Metropolis without it's Superman? The four heroes stood around the body of one of the Parademons. Spitfire didn't recognize anybody. No Titans, definitely not Justice League, just a few down and out heroes. If there was still a Daily Planet after this attack, maybe they'd make the second or third page. One of the Furies, Mad Harriet, lept from rooftop to rooftop passing the 'Planet building. She was trailing behind a hunting party of one Warhound and a total of three Parademons. Judah could hear the beast drawing closer...

"One of those Helldogs or whatever is getting closer, we need to keep moving." Spitfire suggested still trying to make sure to be heard under the scarf. 

The Atlantian began to strip the fallen warrior from its armor. Perhaps there was either a clue to be had or equipment to be put to use. Regardless he did take the time to tear away a strip of green to bandage his wound.

"Where? Fight here or fight there? Does anyone have a favored terrain?" the Atlantian asked.

Spitfire's suggestions were interrupted by another Parademon. Two more were coming in close behind. The Warhound was presently tearing up a McDonalds on Siegel Avenue. Judah ran up a fire escape and got closer to the three oncoming Parademons near the alley and pulled down his scarf blasting each of them with his fire. Two of them hit the ground however the last stayed airborne and used his durability to his advantage.

"We have to keep the momentum, they weren't expecting something like this to happen so soon!" Spitfire tried shouting, readying his scarf as the last Parademon flew back around. Last second Judah jumped over the fire escape and off the ledge kicking the enemy to the ground with a single strike to the throat and jaw of the Parademon.
