Doesn't bother me, re-using the post, though I'll tidy it up some and edit it a little before sticking it in the IC proper.  The whole time I'm writing a CS I'm usually considering what kinda arc stories I want to come up with for the character, so if my sample is technically the opening to my first arc I find it helps me get the whole thing on the right path from the get go, then I can hit the ground running.
