Only after a short while she regained her consciousness again. She had only been unconsciousness for around ten minutes and already seemed to have some more color on her face and somewhat healthier. Mai slowly opened her eyes immediately seeing the boy sit next to her staring up into the sky. She noticed that she was lying on something soft that was to be assuming a bed and tightly pressed bandages around her middle. She felt happy he did help her but she didn't even know this person. There also didn't seem to be a way to escape right now so that was out of the option. There was still a irritating bonking pain in her head and some parts of her body still hurt from the fight. Mai slowly tried to sit herself upright by supporting herself with one of her hands. Once Mai was a few inches of the bed a stinging pain entered her back which made her scream out the pain of it. She dropped down to the bed again and had to struggle to keep her body from moving anymore. Small tears were dripping down her face as she was still moving most of her body except her back. She was afraid to say anything to the boy and kept quiet for now.
