When Clarissa got out to the courtyard where the large bonfire was, she noted that it was only the Arch Mage and his assisstant, Deandro, there. It wasn't odd per say, but normally the Arch Mage just lit the fire and was.gone, so Clarissa decided not to make herself known and stay invisible. Partly because the Arch mage looked a bit troubled, and partly because she wanted to be nosy. "The students will be out here soon" Deandro pointed out, his bright eyes watching the fire. He would eventually take over as Arch Mage, once it was deemed he was ready. "I'm fully Aware." The arch mage spoke, the troubled look deepening. This drew Clarissa in closer, and she made sure to stay far enough away to be off his radar. "Have you heard anything back from Lucifer?" Deandro asked, and the Arch Mage nodded. Lucifer? Clary thought, but soon she was back to listening. "Six more cages have been opened since last month. That brings us up to 13 now, and he can't find.a way to stop them from opening. Its something to do with how they are binding.themselves to the human vessels. Lucifer may be coming here soon. He's more worried about this than I am. But my plan still stands. The.one cage neither of us wanted to open did." He sighed, rubbing his chin. "This survival test is now necessary, especially now with Azrael free." "Azrael as in-" "Unfortunately, it's only a matter of time before he finds his way here. As much as I hate it, you, the teachers, and I won't be able to atop him alone. He's too strong." The Arch Mage closed his eyes now. "And according to Lucifer, Azrael may only be second.in command which means we have other problems to address." "But I thought Azrael was the most evil. He's been in the cage nearly as long as the school has been opened, and that's been centuries!" Deandro exclaimed, and the Arch Mage hushed him. "Hush Deandro, Lucifer has his suspicions, but the one who he thinks it is hasn't been let free yet. So he's revealing the cage as we speak, just in case." He said, and soon there was some talking in the distance. "I suppose we'll finish this later, the students are coming." Deandro said, and once the group's came out, the Arch Mage and.Deandro went in. It was then Clary materialized. Azrael? she thought. Billie and Alex knew more about demons than most of their peers, being as Billie and Lucifer were so close, but there was something else gnawing at her. A survival test. That sounded all too ominous for its own good. Clarissa's mind shifted, however, ounces he caught sight of Logan, and by the look on his face he needed rescued from Jackie Enderman. Oh, Clarissa could do something about that. She smirked and reappeared between the two. "And who is this luscious piece here? You're looking awfully good to waste on these ungrateful bastard, my love." Clarissa focused on Jackie, and even took her hand in bot of hers. "Oh, me Amor! Honor me with thine beauty! And perhaps later we could get to know each other on more than a first name basis." She gave a dazzling smile, "could show you just what a real woman could do, oh vampiress queen!" A few people giggled as Clarissa moved down to one knee. "Would you do me the honor of sharing such a beautiful night with me? Though not as beautiful as yourself." A few vampires laughed this time, but the.loudest bit came from the side where Billie was sitting. "Oh, you get it girl! Tame that beast!" She whistled and Clary.polite, breaking her form. Billie knew the signs all too well. "Oh come on! Won't save me from the uggos, and won't let me have a chance with this.fine piece of ass either? You're killing me!" Clarissa whined a bit dramatically. She noted that some of the vampires were leaving, going on about it being lame.out there anyway. She then caught sight of Heather, Alex, and Jordyn and a smile came.upon her face. Now if they could keep Logan around, and maybe get some blood.in him, the could really party. -- Once Billie and Adrian began on their way to the courtyard, Adrian found himself Stil rubbing his sore neck. Soon he.looked down to Billie who was walking with an air of confidence she never used to have. He remembered the girl from so long ago, who didn't dare use her powers against anyone, which he found odd for a demon. Then, again, She had always said that she and Alex were trying to lay low, so it made more sense to him now than it did then. Still, she was so different now, and.it made him wonder. "I see you weren't kidding about things have changes. You've definitely gotten stronger." He commented, his hand moving away from his throat. "Normally demonic holds are.hard to keep on me." Billie gave a shrug before she looked up at him as they entered the courtyards. "What can I say? I toughened up. I had to. Alex and I weren't on speaking terms, and he can't always fight my battles for me, so I went back to hell for a while and Lucifer trained me. Of course, this was right after you left, so yeah... 30 years in hell with Lucifer wasn't a bad option." "Lessons from Lucifer?" He asked, and Billie nodded. "Yeah. He practically adopted me as his own." She answered ,and soon Clarissa's antics began and Billie smiled. Though it didn't stop Adrian from noticing the glares she was receiving from the group of vampires across from them. "What's up with that? Demons and.vampires normally get along famously." He quipped, and Billie rolled her eyes a bit after shouting out to Clary. "Its not that hard to figure out, Adrian. I dated one of them ,we were together for. A while, he tried to feed on me, I freaked and set Storm and Blaze.on him. Of course, this slimy little bastard went around telling everyone that I was sleeping around and in a psychotic rage I set my hounds on him," Adrian's face soured as she spoke, "so, once word got to Alex, He attacked, and thus blood feud ensues." "Where is the little prick? I'll roast him." His eyes took on a fiery glow, and she could see.his veins changing.colors. "Relax, Adrian. He's.not worth the energy, besides, he.stays away." Billie assured, and though she could see his veins return to normal, when he exhaled a stream of smoke came.out. she shook her head. "Temper." He gave her a look and shook his head this time. "You should mind yours too. I thought I was a hot head. Shit, I'd be afraid to be.put up against you." Billie smirked, as she thought, if you only knew the half of it. She shifted her.line of sight and first saw Heather with Alex and.Jordyn not too far behind and she lifted her hand and waved before turning to Adrian. "Mind getting me and Heather drinks? Would prefer you and Alex be in close proximity with a cooler head." Adrian nodded and got up, but before he left he placed a.kiss to her cheek and she brought her hand up to her skin. A small smile came over her face, but she quickly reconposed herself when Heather got to her. "Babe, you missed Clary go full theatrics with Bitchpire." Billie quipped her eyes motioning over to the fading scene. "Anyways, enjoying the fun?" Her eyes.looked over to Alex and Jordyn who were busting themselves with the smores stuff. "My brother is so lame." Clarissa finally appeared beside them. "Not to all the girls I like." She said, and Billie shook her head. "You know I hate being blunt dear, but you, Adrian, Alex? Sounds like a good story to tell." Billie rolled eyes. "Its been ages.since we've all been around each other. Granted it ended ugly between them, but hey, it's in the past." She said, and Clarissa gave her a look. "I was young ad vulnerable, barely able to keep a telekinesis hold on anything if thay tells.you anything, and then I met Adrian. He and I clicked, but the there was telling accident and he and.Alex never really saw eye to eye after. They use to be close, but then it all went up in smoke. Alex would be able to tell you more on it than I would. I just know I had to choose and I chose blood. Now topic drop, please, don't want to scarring Alex's date like I nearly did a bit ago." This earned her.another look. -- Alex watched the.look on Jordyn's face and he was about.to tell her.it was okay, but then Justin came up and had to say something. He knew.he was blushing, but when Jordyn spoke, he gave me a small smile. "Smores? You've really.never had.one? It's a human thing where they roast marshmallows and stick it between two Graham crackers with chocolate. A little odd, but they are delicious." He chuckled. "Wow, I do sound kind of lame when I talk about.it?" He laughed a little and offered his arm to her again, and once they made their way into the courtyard the scene with Clary and Jackie was coming to a close, so he just brought Jordyn over to the smores table while Adrian headed back in, leaving Billie with her friends, and he watched the vampire crowd start to thin more. Good, No cause for a blood bath for now. He took up one of the metal fork things that rested on the table and put two marshmallows on and he.made one.up for Jordyn too. "Here since going by the fire might not be wise." He said, and he held out his hand and with a bit of concentration a s glowing orb of blue, yellow, and orange flames appeared, becoming only large.enough for Jordyn to roast over. "Normally, I can't get the flames to stay this.small, but I worked on it a lot over the summer. As demons.get older, they develop more.skills." he explained, "Helps when the Arch Mage let's you stay over the summer too." He watches the flame glow and focused a bit and watches as his fork thing levitate over the flames he had in his hand. He didn't show this to everyone, simply because his control was often times subparagraph and he could only hold it for so long. But he dint want to hirt, nor scare the girl before him. "If you want, after this we can just say some hi, how are yous and head back in, or walk around the other.courtyards. it's a little darker, but at least it's quieter." He said, looking at her over the flame in his hand before he heard something bang. He looked.up and saw some fireworks overhead abd when he looked away, he saw the Dragon crowd was doing it. He smiled a bit, "Theye crazy." He chuckled, but he saw how pretty the.colors were and soon he saw.one.of them take form and fly up through the fireworks with a bit of Brutish grace. At least it was calm for now. He.notice Adrian making hos way back with two drinks and one was place in Billie's hand the.other in Heather 's. He gave a bit of a head shake and He allowed the fire.in his hand.to die.once the marshmallows roasted. He didn't want Adrian to see.and think he needed to show off. that got him in trouble last time. "So, tell me what it's like.being a natural creature, seeing as demons are unnatural it would be nice to hear what it's like from the.other side." Secretly he envied.creatures like that because he would never know what it's like.
