Artholath powered the main rune, opening up a vast, empty looking chamber. However, it began to quickly fill with energy that sucked several surrounding objects in, creating a large mix of noise. Staring into the newly activated portal, Artholath could only see a black hole with the faintest of shapes on the edges. It brought the faintest hints of a completely unfamiliar emotion to hm - fear. Would he be sucked in, and destroyed forever? Lost in the cosmos, as his creator had called it? Brought to a place where he would be lunch and dinner? All those possibilities, and then he remembered what was in store for him here. Death. The capture of his soul. Its abuse until his energies would either destroy his host or when he was banished into the mountain. As small rocks began to fall from the ceiling, he knew he had to make a choice of some sort. After a moment of consideration, he lept into the portal, vanishing into its murky depths. [hr] It had made what would feel like an earthquake in the entire lab.
