Tanya was already quite pissed at such disrespect. Sure she already knew that he was disobedient enough, but good lord this was worse then she had realized. 

"And haven't you heard your own voice too?" she asks calmly but with a nasty after taste, "I hate people who have a bad case of hypocrisy you know!"

She gives a nasty glare at Owen as she turns back to Thomas. [i]Boy isn't he quite rowdy for an individual[/i], she would think to herself. Normally she would've slapped him silly, but thankfully her temper kept her in check. He is also useful for communicating with the dinosaurs, at least with raptors from what she heard. But if he continues to be such disrespectful to she and other people, she will have to give him a painful lesson...
