Equinox is a bunch of wiring and metal working together with a few microChips™ inside of it. Inside of those microChips™ are data, data of martial art skills and sword fighting skills that easily allows for Equinox to become naturally skilled at fighting with and without his [i]Quantum-Katana.[/i]

Another feature of the microChips™ is its ability to quickly sort and process new data that it may receive. Whether this be data that is being fed into it by [i]Arashi Technology[/i] or it being through the eyes of Equinox itself, this gives Equinox superior reaction time.

Aside from the features that come from the microChip™, because Equinox is a robot -- or a "mech" -- made from some sort of strong, lightweight, imported metal, he is quicker than the average human and able to withstand punishment up to a degree.

[b]Personality[/b]
Brash, cold, and harsh. Equinox will not stop until he has destroyed each and every superhero in hopes to avenge his false wife and children, but Equinox does come coded with a code of honor. Equinox is not willing to hurt children or innocent civilians -- hence why he hasn't bombed the city by now -- nor is he willing to defeat a superhero with anything other than his Quantum-Katana or bare fists.

[b]History[/b]
There is no human inside of the suit, instead, what is inside of the suit is wiring and metal that is working together. The only thing comparable to a human is the microChip™ that has a Smart A.I. tricked into believing that it once was human, with there even being some made up backstory to Equinox of how he lost his wife and children because a superhero failed to save them. Equinox's main goal is to not destroy Neo-Tokyo, but to instead destroy each and every superhero.

Aside from his "false" history, Equinox was conceived in an Arashi Technology lab as a Smart A.I. Eventually, after Arashi Technology signed a contract with [i]Captain Arashi,[/i] they wanted to create some type of robot to combat Captain Arashi as a sort of rival in hopes that Captain Arashi would gain more fame -- and thus more fame for Arashi Technology themselves. Because of this, Equinox is designed to push Captain Arashi to his limits.

[b]Weakness[/b]
He's a suit. He's a robot. He's nothing more but metal and wires working together to make him move -- to make him "think." Equinox doesn't know that he's a robot made by Arashi Technology, Equinox doesn't know that he's not human, Equinox doesn't know any of this, and once he does, there's no telling what he could do. He's a Smart A.I. capable of thinking for himself with no limitations by Arashi Technology, and for some odd reason, they didn't put in some sort of "deactivation" code in Equinox.

But Arashi Technology knew this. If Equinox tries to kill superheroes, Captain Arashi will save the day. If Equinox figures out what's going on and turns on Arashi Technology, Captain Arashi [u]will[/u] save the day. Either way, this is a win-win for Arashi Technology.

Aside from Equinox being a robot, Equinox can also feel pain, with Arashi Technology placing the "feature" in order to make Equinox more "human-like."
