Alex peered out the window once again, his body a mottle of black and grey as it blended into the unlit interior of the factory. He had done it nearly forty times but still he still didn't feel safe. The last three days kept running through his eye as he checked window after window for signs of life. He tried to hide when they came to drag him to the truck, but they found him in the small cell, and easily overpowered him. Then the crash. Alex suppressed his first instinct to run the moment his restraints were loose to search the crate they loaded onto the truck. He pulled out the sheathed blade they tested with him. Alex needed a weapon, and the moment he had it, he made himself scarce. Of course, Alex kept with the others. Safety in numbers. However he kept distant from the others, especially the robot guy, so if things went to hell, he could disappear with no problem. As he finished checking the last window to once again see and hear nothing but empty streets, Alex hoped the time to disappear would happen sooner rather than later. His fellows scared him almost as much as the Veiss's. Especially the robot guy. Sure that he was safe for the moment, Alex turned from the window moved deeper into the factory, back towards the others. He heard the robot guy speak. Alex approached, his camouflage fading, and spoke, "Bring the fight to them? And end up chained to a wall even sooner? No chance tin man. I say we get the hell outta dodge. Take the opportunity to disappear," To accentuate his point, Alex activated his camouflage a moment, fading from view before reappearing.
