The Uri have the ability to gain knowledge from trees. They touch a tree and voila, they know everything that has come to pass in that forest (as all trees are linked either physically or reproductively)
Moreover, the SC is going to be scouring the entire forest, undetected, and bringing back information on key locations and the best routes to advance.

You are right on the fact that the humans and Uri are far-outnumbered, but I think quality is on the Human/Uri side, and four heroes and Wi. Not going to be easy, but I'd say quality and strategy evens out the Cimex number and adaptation advantages.
