Like you just got fired or missed out on a promotion or someone swiped the last copy of a game you've been waiting a year to play and you just feel like taking a sledgehammer to something? Cause if you haven't let me tell you that then encountering someone whose cheerful about everything just makes you want to scream (misery loves company).

No one else sees Shiro's nature as a problem other then Gren cause no one else has to go on missions with him. Everyone else is perfectly aware of how much of an idiot he is but they think it's funny an adorable cause they're not the ones in danger if he does something stupid in the field. Sapphire as well as being annoyed by him sees that as a problem and Gren always the strategist sees the dangers of that. Abel's too much of a defeatist to think past how he could be improving his own performance let alone everyone else's.
