[@TheWindel]You can always have the café be miraculously reconstructed overnight, as per anime standards. After all the heroes base is very hard to destroy. Personally, I don't like that amount of damage too. If the characters don't have a base of operations what will they do? If someone gets there before the fire spreads the café is still basically salvageable (Eos only punched a few holes in the walls here and there, after all.
