The sound of breathing was stifled by the sharp thud of a knife hitting its mark, followed by the short gurgling of blood. It lasted no more than a heartbeat, evoking the cold efficiency of the knife’s owner. Shiina and her partner stood in the middle of a group of Yellow Jacket members. Or rather, former Yellow Jacket members. They weren’t the group they were looking for but they hadn’t exactly hid themselves either. The vampire glanced around at the lifeless bodies, red eyes shining behind the crimson scarf that covered her face. There she was being a ninja again, though the only thing that made her appear so was her movements and the scarf. She turned away from the Youkai that were lower than trash to report back to Yamato. Nothing of real value or interest had been discovered on this night so far and Harker remained as elusive as ever. Perhaps he wasn’t even residing in the country but working far from the shores of Japan? Who could say for sure? For now they had more area to cover for the night was young. “There's nothing here,” she told Yamato, hands on her hip. “Just more Yellow Jacket degenerates. We’re not due back for at least a few more hours so let’s scout out a some more locations-” The vampire’s pupils narrowed into slits and she whirled her head around towards the direction of the Dangeki Cosplay Café . She stiffened suddenly as something passed through her. Yamato would not feel it for the Café was not bound in his blood. But for Shiina, it was the one of the worst feelings imaginable. “Come,” was all she said to him before speeding off in a flash towards their headquarters. At the pace she was going, it didn’t take long for her to reach the burning remains of her home. She stopped to catch a brief glimpse of the roaring flames, making sure the fire could not spread, before speeding off into the burning building. She located Amiti and Mister Mori close together as usual. She hoisted both of them up first and dashed out before returning to find Rikka flattened against a wall. She lifted her too, speeding out in mere heartbeats before the Dangeki gave out a loud groan before collapsing in on itself. For now the fire was dormant and everyone was safe. Even so, the fire also served as a literal metaphor for how Shiina was feeling at the moment. Her eyes did not revert back to their blue hue, instead remaining firm in their crimson pupils, rage reflected in her gaze. The vampire turned to spot a downed Eiko before crouching next to her in mere moments. She gently lifted the girl up before moving the scarf downwards and away from her concealed face. “Mistress Eiko. Who did this? And where’s Eos-san?” Her voice was like ice and her eyes held a killing intent that threatened to overwhelm the younglings, Amiti and Rikka. Her silent anger was not directed at Eiko but it was obvious she wanted some answers soon. Farther away, another pair of red eyes studied the scene carefully. Much like the perfect and elegant maid, these pair of eyes too held dark rage but not because the Café had been destroyed. The girl with the black parasol narrowed her eyes before turning her head to the no doubt unconscious Ikkime. For just this moment she could express how annoyed she was and ponder just what kind of punishment she would give to those fickle-minded idiots. For now though…. “I-Ikkime-san? Ikkime-san! Please wake up! Y-You can’t be dead…I know that’s not enough to kill you Ikkime-san so please wake up!” Lucille crouched near the fox Youkai, body trembling as tears threatened to overtake her vision.
