Appearance: Richard is a very large man. He stands at well over six feet tall, with wide shoulders and a burly frame. He is still in fighting shape after his time in the Service, lean and heavily muscled, his hands calloused and skin coarse. He does not wear a beard anymore, and keeps his black hair short and easily-managed. His face is wide, his ears slightly scarred from his rugby days in high school. He wears a smile while off duty, a dour neutral looks when not. His posture is straight, his gait long and his stance wide. He keeps his fingernails in exquisite condition. His nose has been broken several times, but has managed to remain normal looking beyond very close inspection. His eyes are brown and his gaze supremely respectful to superior officers and excitedly curious to most others. His smile is slightly crooked and subtly damaged thanks to a scuffle in Islamabad.

Trivia: Has always liked to be called 'Dick', despite the modern meaning. Needless to say, few call him such outside of particular anger.
Finally got the tattoo he always wanted, the Special Air Service emblem over his heart, after being barred from permenant tattoos due to his work at MI6. Has wanted to get a tattoo since his best friend and former ESA rocket engineer got 'Per Aspera Ad Astra' across his right arm.
Plays the trumpet to a surprisingly high standard, though he started his improptu musical career in Kabul, playing a scavenged harmonica for his squad.
Abstains from drink, drugs and most other intoxicants, though has taken to smoking cigars on special occasions, emulating his personal hero Winston Churchill
Has always been fascinated by firearms, and is disappointed that the one time he is posted on a low-intensity mission in America, he is stuck in the anti-firearm New York City.
Got suspended from elementary school for bringing a homemade smoke bomb to class on April 1st
