Saren is in charge of overseeing the process of each of the Gem kindergartens on the planet Calyx as well as assuring that each Gem produced will be useful to Homeworld.[/i][/color]

Being a fusion Saren's physical strength surpasses that of most gems, being able to lift unimaginable amount of weight with ease. He is incredibly durable, shrugging off attacks that would completely destroy others. He is quite the deadly force when someone is foolish enough to face off against him in close quarter combat.

Saren makes use of a [url=http://i.imgur.com/zA1Y6zg.png]scythe[/url] in combat as his weapon. He wields it with a rather deadly power, his attacks being more than enough to cut stone in half like butter. When he needs more range in his attacks, or to catch someone who is trying to run, Saren can unlock his scythe causing it to turn into a chain whip that can be swung in a wide ark.

Saren has the unique ability to control the earth beneath his feet. He can toss boulders, burry people alive, and even cause minor dirt storms with the right amount of effort. He has even been able to make constructs out of the earth, such as a giant fist to crush his enemies.[/I][/color]

[color=navy][b][i]Background[/i][/b][/color]
[color=black][i]Saren's story did not start as his own, but rather that of three Gem warriors. Though the names of these warriors are now lost their tale is still remembered. It was long ago on a planet that was in process of being conquered by Homeworld, the three Gems were on the front lines of the battle, but it was not going well. Their whole squad had been destroyed by the enemy and it looked like they were next, well that was until they fused. Their fusion gave birth to the ruthless warrior Serendibite. Serendibite brutally destroyed those who attacked the Gems, leaving no trace of them. The power of being Serendibite quickly went to the three Gems' heads and they continued to use him throughout the war, even winning the victory for Homeworld in the final battle. Though the more and more the Gems turned into Serendibite the more of themselves they lost until eventually they fully succumbed to Serendibite entirely. Ever since then Serendibite, who now goes by Saren, has served Homeworld faithfully. Most recently he has been placed in charge of the Kindergartens on planet Calyx, making sure that each of the Gems produced will only serve to improve Homeworld.[/I][/color]

[color=navy][b][i]Appearance[/i][/b][/color]
[color=black][I]Saren is a towering individual, standing at an astonishing ten feet tall. He has a lean body build, not overly muscle bound like other larger Gems. He has six arms in total on his body. His skin is a grey color while his eyes are a pale blue, the white of his eyes actually being black. His hair is a combination of dark ash black a stark white. His clothing consist of leather armor that is colored a combination of black and blue.[/I][/color]
