I'll start working on my second post tomorrow. I already have it outlined, all I need to do is to actually sit down and write the thing. I also want to see who here likes the two post introductory arc rule. If nobody will miss it, I'll remove it. No more sitting in a dark corner of the RP's universe waiting until you can collab with someone. Seeing how most people have already started their introductory arcs, this will apply more to their second characters, rather than their current ones. Let me know what you think.
Being that the RP is taking place in what could be essentially called 'Year Six' introductions seem a bit redundant. Were this a Zero Year RP or even Year One, introductions would make sense but for our purposes most major heroes should be established. If you're particularly fond of the rule you could enforce it on Legacy character however cutting them off from collaborating is risky. Characters like Robin, Speedy, Aqualad etc are heavily dependent upon their mentor but others like Blue Beetle II, Jon Stewart or Black Canary II merely assumed the identity of an older hero and work primarily on their own. All in all, I'm against any rule that limits how many posts I have to create for an arc especially considering the fandom we're emulating often has crossovers and arcs that last anywhere from three to six issues (Not sure if I can think of an arc higher than six issues as that would have been half a year. I suppose cross title events easily can count as well over six issues though.) so that said limiting a character to a two issue introduction just seems like a bad idea in general. Nightwing was originally reintroduced in a four issue mini series before his 90's monthly kicked off. TL:DR I vote it be axed.
