Amazing physical shape does not equate strength. Regan can keep up with scouts without her lance. She was keeping ahead of those imperial scouts most of the way.

She also has a [i]silent[/i] weapon that, I would say, outclasses a bayonette. Doesn't protect her from getting shot, no, but... mmn.
