As the Ice Arrow crashed against the eye, the thermal scanner in the ship went offline, "Welp, that sucks. An easily fixed injury but the Red Eye is useless for now. I'll have to call it back... But first." Bloodstone flipped a switch and the Red Eye could be seen charging an energy pulse of some kind then he hit a button to unleash the charged force. A huge laser shot out from the eye landing close to where the gems where located causing massive damage, destroying parts of the town, and the force blasting the gems, Johnny, and his van in the direction opposite of the impact. "Hopefully that did some damage to those rebellious new gems. Now to bring the Red Eye back to base." The Red Eye slowly made it's way back into the sky, still staring at the gems. As the gravitational pull ended, bits and pieces of the town crashed down causing even more damage to it.

"Two of them fused. Maybe one of these gems aren't so 'new', a survivor of the Great War maybe?"
