[@The Kid Lantern] Any of those characters are acceptable for application.  However, note that most superhumans have only been publicly active for a few years (although mutants could have been active for a while longer).  Basically, unless you have worked with a government agency or a mutant group that hasn't made itself public, your character probably should be publicly known for 3 years max.
