XDDDDD I actually thought about that. Something like:

"But as they grew closer to one another, the Woman's lover looked into her eyes and saw the ferocious gaze of Kraken, just beneath the surface, like a storm waiting behind calm clouds"

That's why the child would likely be twins- one would be a child of Woman and one a child of Kraken. It would be interesting to see the sibling rivalry between the gentler, more caring WotW's kid and the evil, corrupt Kraken's kid.
