To be honest I'd prefer if I had no player characters under my command. Not that I think in any way that your RP would be anything less than stellar, but having a PC under orders would not only slow the actions down significantly, but it would also mandate that either we collude or I have to alter my posts significantly to be perfectly clear about the exact orders given, which would make my posts less interesting and significantly longer.

My personal recommendation would be a low-level commander of maybe some elite troops working in tandem with my unit, therefore having more autonomy
