Using this magic, Fraquar is able to unleash a blast of earth and sharp stones from his mouth, cover his body in in a thin layer of dirt to protect himself, and transform his right hand into an earth claw, among other things. Fraquar is also capable fo restoring his magic by eating earth/dirt, be it natural or made by magic. Earth spells also have little effect on him unless they come from a Dragon- or God-Slayer. Fraquars arm: Fraquar's left arm is entirely mechanical and powered by lacrima. It is capable of causing small explosions at the palm in rapid succession or launching small fireballs from it. Despite appearances, it is very light and he is capable of moving at great speeds with it, closing gaps with surprising speeds. Despite that, he is only capable of moving that quickly in short bursts. Magic Level: S History: Born an orphan, Fraquar led a life on the streets in a big town and survived to rise. Cunning and resourceful but also a person of honor, Fraquar never resorted to stealing or begging to get what he wanted, but rather worked for it and worked hard. He was well liked in his village and no one cared for his status, as everyone was willing to let the young boy stay in their home, knowing he would pay them back in some way. Aiming to make something of himself, Fraquar saw the easiest way to do that was through military. One of his friends, Siegurd, was from a military family and helped Fraquar when the boy wasn't working, teaching him how to use a sword as well a magic, for which Fraquar had an affinity for Earth Magic. Dedicated to his goal, Fraquar picked things up quickly and mastered most within the year he was taught them. By the time he was fifteen, he was able to take on one of the town's guardsmen and defeat them with ease. Fraquar joined the military when he turned eighteen and quickly gained the attention of his superiors due to his skills with magic and a blade and joined the ranks with ease. Within the year, he was in the ranks of the Rune Knights, doing various jobs to the Magic Council, some of them alongside his old friend Siegurd. During one of these missions, Fraquar came across an old book in some ruins, preserved by magic. The book held details of a lost magic and Fraquar took it with him, keeping it a secret from all but his friend. As time went by, Fraquar came to lead his own squadron of Rune Knights and was well respected. With respect came hate though, and a ranking officer, fearful that Fraquar might take his position, sent Fraquar's squad on a suicide mission while leaving out key details. Fraquar led his squad, feeling sure this would be an easy mission to hunt down a local monster causing trouble. What he hadn't been told was that the monster was an experiment gone wrong. When Fraquar and his squad came across the beast, it attacked without warning or mercy. The creature had a viel around it that made it hard to track and it tore through Fraquar's men like a hot knife through butter, killing every last one of them. Fraquar was only able to slay the beast by letting it take his left arm. Alone, in the middle of no where with his arm missing, Fraquar's chances of survival were slim. Luckily, his friend Siegurd arrived just before he was about to die and Fraquar managed to live. Steaming and full of anger, Fraquar left the military and set out on his own. The first thing he did was visit a man who owed him a favor and had a talent for making complicated machinery. The man fashioned Fraquar a mechanical arm, powered by lacrima and that drained the magical energy from the air to keep the lacrima powered. After getting the arm surgically attached to himself, Fraquar spent from time getting used to it and maintaining it before setting off. Over the next few years, Fraquar attacked assets of the officer that had doomed his squad, making himself a criminal. During this time he also rescued a young girl named Pyrrha and joined a group called the Riders. At first he cooperated, thinking that their leader would help him kill the officer. When he found out their leader was really planning before the take over, and that he planned on harm Pyrrha, Fraquar lost it and engaged the man in battle. It was long and lasted hours but in the end, Fraquar managed to subdue the man. Bringing him before the magic council, Fraquar handed his former leader over to them along with another former partner in exchange for a full pardon. Realizing he was helping a bigger problem then he was solving, Fraquar let go of his grudge began forming a guild to help make the world a better place, calling upon old friends to help him start it up. Personality: Strong, resolute, and a man of his word, Fraquar was the ideal soldier. Caring about the people under his care, Fraquar is a commander his will push his people while still looking out for them, putting their wellbeing before all else. Knowing of his past crimes, he is trying to make amends, though he knows his crimes are hard to forgive. In battle, Fraquar keeps his calm and reacts to situations with precision and planning. He only loses his cool when someone under his command is harmed in a serious way that could possibly kill them. At that point, he uses his anger to better himself midbattle and make himself a force to be reckoned with. Due to the events of his past, he has a hard time forgiving those who harm his friends and comrades. Team Members: Jack, Lyon, Necro Three Strengths: 1. Master Swordsman: Fraquar is stilled in the use of a sword, wielding one in conjunction with his arm and magic with incredible ease 2. Incredible Strength: Fraquar is incredibly strong, wielding his sword with one hand with relative ease. This strength also results in his incredible speed. 3. Massive Endurance: Fraquar knows how to take a beating before going down. The man survived getting his arm ripped off and going several miles before getting medical treatment. He has improved the cooling system considerably over time, but it is far from perfect. 2. Never stops: Fraquar will put his life on the line to complete his objective. Once he sets his mind to something, only death will stop him. The emotion she is most prone to is anger, causing her flames to be more explosive and cover massive areas with a single blast when he is her most livid. If she is calm enough, her flames can heal wounds rather then cause them, though it is very rare for this to happen. Even when enraged, Pyrrha has impressive control over her flames and can pull off stunts some would find impressive given her state of mind at the time. Magic Level: B-A History: Born in a rural part of Fiore, Pyrrha's life could be explained as average at best. Her parents ran a general goods store and a sawmill, making just enough money to keep both businesses going while supporting themselves and their daughter. For her part, Pyrrha was a troublesome girl, always getting into fights and causing general trouble. Some of her friends called her a boy rather then a girl due to her shear tomboyishness and Pyrrha took this as a compliment and accepted it with no small amount of pride. When Pyrra was seventeen, a fire swept through the area and bandits took advantage of it to attack the village and it's people as they fled to escape the flames. During the chaos then ensued, Pyrrha was separated from her partents and surrounded by some of the villagers attackers, who debated on wether it was best to kill her, sell her, or keep her for themselves. Before they could decide, thy were blasted aside by a wave of earth and a man stepped into view, his eyes lit with fury and one arm reflecting the flames off it's metal surface. The man tore through the bandits, decimating their ranks like a one man army, earth and flames being shot at his opponents in equal measure. Pyrrha watched the scene in fascination, hypnotized by her saviors movements and overwhelming power. When all was said and done, the man approached her and offered his help in searching for survivors. Accepting, the two searched for hours and only found a few members of the village, though both of Pyrrha's parents had perished. Angered, Pyrrha demanded that the man train her so she could fight like him and help those in need. Seeing the fire in her eyes, the man agreed. Two years of brutal training in both swordsmanship and magic and Pyrrha was a force to be reckoned with in her own right. She had also grown incredibly close to her master, Fraquar Alinstar, and followed him everywhere, even after he said she no longer needed his guidance. Because of this devotion, she joined the riders with her master and helped defeat Necro when the man defected and decided to bring the crazed leader down. It came as no surprise when she was the first to jump onboard his idea of forming a guild and she wouldn't have it any other way. Personality: Hotheaded, rash, and always eager to pick a fight but capable of being care, gentle, and protective, Pyrrha is the embodiment of what makes fire both deadly and welcome in most homes. A driven individual, Pyrrha will take on any challenge given to her and tackle it head one, completely unconcerned with the danger that might be involved. When she is calm or need to keep her head, Pyrrha's normally brash manner disappears and she can take any insult or challenge with the appropriate reaction. Though she can still lose her temper quickly, it would take a major insult or her being in the heat of battle for her to do so, and when she snaps, she snaps with fury. Pyrrha idolizes Fraquar and will follow his orders to the letter when he gives them to her. Her devotion to the man is to the point that she would die for him. Team Members: Lucus Three Strengths: 1. Expert Swordswoman: Like her teacher, Pyrha knows her way around a sword and can hold her own in battle. 2. Age: 25 Magic: Wind Magic: Lucus can freely control the winds as his weapon. This gives him many revenues of attack and defense as well as giving him the ability to fly and speed himself up, making him an adaptable fighter as well as a dangerous one. His strongest defense is his wind armor, which he has learned to summon at a moments notice, creating winds over a particular limb that are strong enough to deflect most physical blows and reflect most magic. Magic Level: A History: The scion of a family of rich bankers, the direction of Lucus' life was decided from the moment he was conceived. From an early age, Lucus spent his time stuck in his family's manor, studying and reading away when other children would be playing, either inside or outside. The subject he was forced to study ranged from the basics to proper etiquette and his family's history. Lucus hated his life and longed for one of his own. When he was fifteen, he made plans to run away and after months of preparation and planning, managed to get past his family's security and run into the night. Being a sheltered rich kid, the first couple of weeks were rough for Lucus, as he managed to get involved in a group who took him hostage and held him ransom. His parents hired a mage who free their son and while the mages succeeded, he saw Lucus desire to stay free and, after a long talk, decided to help the boy by teaching him magic. Two years of being on the run and training later, Lucus was a mage who had the winds at his command, a skill he used to avoid the mercenaries his parents sent after him, often avoiding combat and simply fleeing rather then fighting them. During this time, he came in contact with a name calling himself Necro and joined his group in hopes of protection. Within the group he met and fell in love with fellow member Roseletta 'Rose' Yashai. Rose, a powerful mage in her own right, earned the jealousy of several other members who drugged both her and Lucus, the drug making Lucus do things to her he normally wouldn't do. When the members brought this forth to Necro, he quickly kicked Rose out with no sympathy and kept Lucus on, something which angered Lucus greatly. When he and the others were sent to Phoenix Wing to retrieve a child, Lucus purposely picked a fight with the guild in hopes that they would be captured, a plan which partially succeeded. While they had been capture, Jack broke them out and they returned to Necro, who was enraged by the failure. Months later, when Fraquar lead a coup against Necro, Lucus joined and fought off the only other loyal member, Lyon, and then helped Fraquar and Prryha defeat Necro. Tired of running, he decided to join Fraquar's new guild and officially denounced his parents, cutting all ties and possibility of inheritance with them. Though they still badger him to reconsider, Lucus is adamant on this choice and seeks to make his life his own. Personality: Lucus is a calm and charming individual. He rarely looses his tempter and tries to talk his way out of situations rather then fight, though he will not hesitate to use violence if he views it as absolutely necessary or unavoidable. Even in combat, he will try to talk his opponent out of fighting and calm them down. One of Lucus' biggest traits is his love for freedom. He absolutely hates the idea of being tied down and unable to do as he pleases, within reason, and is often anywhere but where he needs to be unless it's absolutely necessary. In the past, this has lead him to abandon his family and betray many a person to stay free, but he seems to be loving this view, as he has settled in with the guild Rider's Blade and seems to have no qualms with staying. Lucus also feels incredibly guilty about what happened between him and his former lover, Roseletta Yashai and he hopes he can one day be forgiven. Team Members: Three Strengths: 1. Omni Attacker: There are very few ranges and angles Lucus cannot exploit to attack an opponent with 2. Angile Fighter: Lucus' magic grants his a good degree of agility, allowimg him to jump and dash around a battlefield with ease 3. Charismatic: Lucus' charisma can be deadlier then his magic and he prefers to use his words to get out a situation rather then his power. Three Weaknesses: 1. Pacifist: Lucus tends to prefer avoid fighting rather then get involved in one. 2. Little combat training: Lucus has only just gotten some combat training in with both Siegurd and Fraquar. However, he has little experience in actual combat, non-street/bar fighting which can lead to him making mistakes. 3. Not entirely trustworthy: Lucus has a history of betraying others, making him hard to trust. This can get in the way of working with others from time to time. The blade is capable of transforming into a number of weapons with few limitations, allowing Siegurd to use a weapon to better suite his situation. The main restriction on this blade is that he cannot make ranged weapons or a shield. However, Siegurd makes this magic work through his proficiency with many weapons that he uses and his immense strength and durability to get through a fight against mages with more versatile and longer ranged magics. Magic Level: A History: An old friend of Fraquar's, Siegurd was raised by a family with a history of serving the military in various forms, from black ops groups, to guards for the magic council, to the Rune Knight themselves. Siegurd himself aimed to be a Rune Knight like his grandfather before him and trained diligently every day alongside his friend, who also aimed to be a Rune Knight When Siegurd was twenty years old, he passed the exams and became a full fledged Rune Knight, using his grandfather's old weapon, Elfiem, when carrying out missions or training. Siegurd had a very illustrious career as a Rune Knight, completing several missions of importance alongside Fraquar and quickly rising through the rank. Within five years, he was the commander of his own squadron and leading missions across the continent. When word reached him that Fraquars squad had been wiped out on a mission, Siegurd was completely shocked. That squad was one of the best and had to have been ambushed by a rather strong force for that to happen. Leading his own squad on a rescue mission, Siegurd managed to find his friend before he could die of his wounds and managed to extract the story from Fraquar about what had happened. Disgusted, Siegurd left the Rune Knight and has been working for a mercenary guild before receiving an invitation to join his old friend's new guild, an invitation he happily and readily accepted. Personality: A rather normal man, Siegurd is calm and easy to approach. He is kind to those under him and respectful to his equals and higher ups. When he trains he is serious and can be a bit of a drill sergeant when training other or training with them. Despite this, he knows when to stop and will push his trainees to their limits and only beyond if they wish to do so, unless he sees a need to push them harder. In battle, Siegurd can be a bit of a berserker and more then a little brutal. He will not kill an opponent in a friendly challenge, but he will seriously injure them if they are not careful. Depending on the bullet loaded and fired from the gun, the bullet will have different, magical effects, from firing an explosive shot to a tornado, to a shot that acts like a flash grenade. While highly adaptable, the user needs quick reflexes to stand a chance in melee combat, with they wish to hit their opponent. Magic Level: B History: Born on a farm in central Fiore, Delsin was always fascinated by magic, even though he thought it out of his reach. As such, he focused on helping his parents out around the farm, which included how to work and fire a gun from his father, to take care of wild animals that would harm their livestock. On occasion, he would enter local shooting competitions and over the years gained several trophies. When he was fifteen, he watched a competition between magic users and it was here that he first saw Guns Magic at work. Surprised to see a magic that even he could use, he asked the user about it and, several days and conversation later, he had a supply of magic bullets and a teacher to help him. Working as a bounty hunter alongside his teacher, Delsin came into money easily and quickly picked up on what bullets to use when. He and his teacher occasionally help the Rune Knights and it was through this work that he met Siegurd. When Fraquar refounded the Riders as an official guild, he sent an invite at Siegurds recommendation to Delsin who accepted it, as his teacher had let him go and he felt more like working with others then solo. Personality: Laid back and cool as ice, Delsin is rarely seen without a smile on his face or a joke on his lips. He loves to make fun of people and sometimes embarrass them if it means getting a laugh out of other. Age: 20 Magic: Diamond Make: A form of Maker Magic that allows the user to make constructs made out of pure diamond which are as deadly as they are beautiful. Being made of pure diamond, the constructs, whether static or kinetic, are very durable and have incredible cutting power if the form they take is capable of doing so. Krystal specialized in Kinetic Diamond Make and often makes creatures to fight her battles for her and act has guardians against attack with their amazing durability. Magic Level: A History: The daughter of two famous jewelers, Krystal was born into a life of wealth and beauty. In her youth she would spend all her time at her parents shop, watching them make jewelry with the finest gemstone the country and others outside of it had to offer. Of these gems, Krystal loved diamonds the most and watched her parents work on that particular gem the most intensely. When Krystal of ten years old, a group of traveling mages came to town and began establishing a guild there. Krystal was entranced. She wanted to find a magic that blended with her love of diamonds and by shear luck, one of the mages happened to use a rare form of Maker Magic known as Diamond Make. After much pleading, begging, and trantrum throwing, the mage finally gave in and began teaching the young girl how to use the magic. While at first her efforts bore no fruit, Krystal kept at it, something that impressed her teacher, and she finally managed to make her first creation, a small fly, after a full month of training. Encouraged by her success, Krystal continued training and eventually became a mage the town could depend on and joined the guild that had taught her the magic she now used and began going on jobs with her master, much the dismay of her parents, who had hoped she would take up the jeweler profession. Krystal's happiness lasted until a year ago, when a powerful Dark Guild attacked her home. In the struggle, Krystal's father and master were killed, though Krystal managed to hold off the dark mages until helped arrived in the form of a man who used a transforming sword to cut through the ranks of the enemy until none were able to fight and some unable to live. The man helped Krystal search for survivors and treated her wounds until a regiment of Rune Knights arrived to finish handling the situation. The man left, telling Krystal to stay with her mother and help her get over the loss they had both sufferered before departing, though he did give her his name first: Siegurd Hiliem. A year passed and during that time, Krystal intensified her training. One day, Siegurd returned and offered her membership in a guild his friend was forming. Unable to say no and watching to help prevent disasters like what had happened to her, she accepted immediately. Personality: Somewhat spoiled and vain, Krystal is a girl who values beauty and often views herself as being superior to all in that department, with few exceptions. In terms of magic, she also views hers as being among the most beautiful kinds known and is hard pressed to admit otherwise. Despite this emphasis on beauty, Krystal does not hesitate to let her appearance get in the way of a job or mission and would rather get a blemish or a scar on herself then let a mission fail.
